Chapitre 23: The Gambling God Has No Reason
Walking up to the arena Joey meet's me and says some words before we start our duel. "Yo Riku let's have a good duel but you should know I won't lose I've got to win for serenity's sake!"
"Alright Joey then give me a good duel I won't be easy to beat!"
"2x DUEL"
Joey speaks up after winning the coin flip. "I'll go first and I'll summon my Lava Battleguard in attack mode! Then I'll set one card face down and I'll end my turn!"
"My turn! I'll draw then I'll activate Upstart Goblin giving you 1000 life points but I get to draw a card. Now I'll summon my Steel Orge Grotto #2 and I'll have him attack your Lava Battleguard!"
As the steel machine goes forward it is intercepted by a chain that is now help by the Lava Battleguard. "I'll activate my trap card Kunai With Chain to switch your monster to defense mode and I can equip it to my Lava Battlegaurd to increase it's attack points by 500."

Steel Ogre Grotto #2 1900/2200
"Alright fine then I'll set two cards and I'll end my turn!"
"My turn I draw! Perfect! I'll summon my Red Eyes Black Dragon then I'll equip it with Dragon Nails increasing it's attack points my 600! Then I'll have him destroy your Steel Ogre Grotto #2 and I'll end my turn"
"On your end phase I'll activate Solemn Wishes. My turn! I'll draw and because of Solemn Wishes I'll gain 500 Life points then I'll activate Pot Of Greed to draw 2 more cards and gain another 1000 Life points!"

"Now I'll summon my B.E.S Starship Warden and I'll activate it's effect to add to my hand Starship Cannon! Then I'll equip B.E.S Starship Warden with Starship Cannon and another spell in my hand Cyclon Laser giving it a total of 3500 Attack!"
"Now I'll have my B.E.S Starship Warden attack and destroy your Red Eyes Black Dragon dealing you 500 life points Plus the effect of Starship Cannon removing Cyclon Laser to destroy your Lava Battlegaurd dealing you an extra 500 life points!"

"My turn! I'll turn this around my summoning my Alligator Sword and activating the spell Shield and Sword meaning that all monsters on the field have their attack and defense swapped and I'll have my Alligator Sword attack your starship then I'll end my turn!"

"I'll draw and I'll set one monster face down and I'll end my turn."
"My turn looks like my lucks turning around I'll summon Masaki The Legendary Swordsman and then I'll equip it with Legendary Sword to give it 300 attack and defense. Then I'll attack your face down monster with Masaki!"
"My monster was Giant Rat and sense our attack and defense are the same Giant Rat stays on my field!"
After Joey's failed attack he ends his turn. "My turn first off I'll activate Reasoning! You have to chose a level from 1-12 and I send cards from the top of my deck to the graveyard until I get a monster if you chose a different level than the monster I sent has then I get to summon it to my field. Pick your level from 1-12 Joey!"
"I'll chose level 7!" I start milling cards from the top of my deck to the graveyard getting rid of Cyclon Laser, Fairy Box and Paralyzing Potion before getting The Creator. "The Creator is level 8 which means you called it wrong meaning I get to summon it straight to my field! Next I'll use The Creator to attack your Masaki The Legendary Swordsman and I'll end my turn."
Joey Wheeler 975--->75
"I'll draw! Finally! I'll activate a card I got from Yugi, Pot Of Greed! to let me draw another 2 cards then I'll play the monster Time Wizard and I'll activate his effect Time Roulette." As Time Wizard floats upward with it's wand spinning it has 3 symbols, with it landing on a red bullet proof vest (?). "Alright now with Time Roulette all your monsters will age and get destroyed!"
Riku Yulunger (Solemn Wishes) 4300--->2425 LP
"Along with that my Alligator Sword also gets a power-up as crocociles and alligators are both prehistoric allowing it to go back to go back to the dinosaur age turning it into Crocodragon Sword!"
'Of course the duel was going so well until the BISS started happening now I have no follow up play especially with that Crocodragon Sword on the field.' Crocodragon Sword is a fusion monster with 2500 attack and 1600 defense.
"I draw! Finally I'll end this duel I summon Jowgen The Spiritualist to discard one card and destroy all special summoned monsters." As per Jowgen's effect I discard one random card being Ancient Elf. "Next I'll equip Jowgen with the second card I put face down in the begining of the duel Stim Pack and I'll have Jowgen attack and destroy your Time Wizard!"

{For any one still confused on duelist Kingdom rules here they are.}
Each player begins the Duel with 2000 Life Points. Directly attacking the opponent is not allowed.Only one monster is allowed to declare an attack per turn. Players can Normal Summon monsters of any Level without Tributing. If a player fails to summon any monsters during their turn when they didn't control one, they will automatically lose the duel. When a monster is destroyed by a card effect, the controller of that card takes damage equal to half of that monster's ATK.
