'This idiot gives jealousy a verb!' Ruthar thought, his expression turning sour as he folded his arms.

"Thanks to your performance, I see you are not a total waste of time and worthy to be under me as a slave..."

"Slave!" Ruthar yelled out, anger boiling within him. The word alone was enough to make him lose control. This was long overdue; all they wanted was a slave contract.

"If anyone should be anyone's slave, it should be you being mine! I don't care about your deals or concerns for the throne, Dog! But if you try to hurt anyone I love or those close to me, I'll kill you." His threat was loud enough for only Rova to hear.
