Chapitre 16: Infirmary
Today is my unfortunate day. I have a fever. After me and senpai back home from the hot spring, I felt a bit dizzy. Suddenly, I was collapsed and my body are hot.
Now, I'm at the academy's infirmary. Due to exhaustion, principal give me some days off to take a rest at infirmary and must isolation myself from the girls.
Suddenly, the door was opened and someone approached my bed. Purple hair with a glasses. Busty with lab coat? Yes it's her. Third year senior. She's very cool person. And what I mean by cool is...
"Hey, I come in. How's your feeling?" She said with monotone voice.
Yup, that's what I mean, her cold demeanor. Although she's cold but she's so kind too, you know. I mean she always check up on me. I know she's do that to every patient, I know that.
Anyway, because I'm the only one here, so she always check up on me.
"Hmm temperature 37.5. Still have a fever huh? You do really enjoy staying there, right Wakui."
"Yeah, sorry about that, Tachibana."
And revelation! She's actually my childhood friend. Two years older than me but she's good. It's has been a long time after all.
She sighed. "You know, I didn't expected that you also here, wakui. I mean, who would join this kind of school anyway?"
"Then, how about you? I mean you already third year now."
"I'm a different story, I work here as the nurse. I mean this is school for "population ". You don't know what would happened, right?" She sighed.
Nurse huh? She really still like that dream since kids. Help people, be friendly. It just nice she still hold to that dream.
"Anyway, how long I will be in here, though? I'm pretty bored and the girls..."
"Don't worry, I estimate that you will be discharge two weeks from now." She smile as she hand out a paracetamol and a glass of water. "Here your medicine."
I take the medicine and swallow it in one gulp. "Two weeks? Damn, that's a very long time." I lay down once again after taking the medicine.
"Yeah. But don't worry about your girls. They still can visit you. You caught a cold not a whole pandemic." She sighed as she get up from her seat.
"Anyway, I will go off back to my class, Wakui. Be a good boy and lay down." She leave the room and close the door. After that, I take some rest by sleeping.

After the class over, the girls visit me while putting on a face mask over their face to prevent from infected by me.
"Hey, Toru!" They said at the same time.
"Hey, girls. Nice to see you."
They all sit beside my bedside. Although they visit a sick man, they still same as usual. And I'm glad they still there are though I want some a bit quite atmosphere.
Later, we all talked about what happened today. Some gossiping, a new student come in, and etc. But the mostly we talk is about Shiori and Hikari's pregnancy. Look like they both still can handle the symptoms and that was a good news.
"Okay, girls get out. Visit time is over. Please leave the patient alone for him take a rest."
As we all disturbed in a various topic, the sliding door suddenly open and Tachiba step in and make the girls leave. Then, we both were leave alone.
"Geez. You really loved by them that much huh?" She said as she take a sit beside me to check my temperature.
"37.0"
"Huh, does your girls take away your heat or what? It's dropped 0.5°C you know."
I chuckled. I know how they love so much but that doesn't mean my temperature dropped because of them.
"Maybe your medicine is getting work? I took a rest after I took that medicine, right?"
She hum with a smirk on her lips. "Well, that maybe another theory we can come up with."
This is one of her weakness. Egotistic. She always weak when someone compliment her. Sometimes, she can be cute you know.
"Anyway, if you keep doing thus and take it easy, you probably get to discharge early than I estimated you will. So please take a rest and take your medicine, okay?"
"Yes, Doctor~"
She smirked and get up from her seat. Then, she take off her lab coat and hang it up.
"So, my duty as your Doctor is done. Now time for childhood friend talk!"
And this is what I think it's hella cute from her. Her aura and expression. One time you can see her cold demeanor face but later you can see her cheerful smile.
If you want to know, she always have been like this since kids. When someone she cared about have a sickness or Injury, her inner doctor will came out and she will become strict.
But at the same times she also can be cheerful. Just on some people. Like me and her parents.
"So, what do you want to talk about?" I asked while adjust my seat on the bed.
She put her finger on her chin and think through fully. "How about the girls?" She asked and lean closer to me.
"Sure, why not"
Afterwards, we both talk about my girls, household, and my future kids. After an hour later we both stop talking to let me some rest.
"Hey Wakui. Today I have a great talk with you. Hope, we can talk again sometime." She stopped at the door and look at me.
"Yeah sure. Anytime you want, Tachibana."
Then, she stepped out of the room and locked my door before go home. She is very caring person actually. And the way she talk with me, she seems lonely. Either she doesn't have any friends or... she just want to talk with me.

With introduced of a new character, a new arc begin. Her name is Isami Tachibana. Third year students and childhood of Toru? What would happened next? Will she joined Toru's house or she will graduate graduate?
