Chapitre 105: Taking Advantage

Callum and Sterling looked at the hand, but they did not shake it. It was not an uncommon thing for both vampires and werewolves not to shake hands with people they were not close to. 

Scents tended to cling to the skin, especially from sweat. Therefore, most of them would only shake hands with familiar people to avoid the discomfort of smelling another person on their skin.

However, this was not the only reason Callum and Sterling gave Silas the cold shoulder. The two knew that Silas was the source of that cursed bracelet which had incapacitated Leila due to the power of the argent silver. 

The bracelet was so powerful that it would have been banned due to its lethality if it was dangerous to humans. Even hunters did not usually carry anything so potent. That was a torture device and was inhumane. 

It was designed and made by someone who hated the supernatural with vehemence.
