Chapitre 65: Talented Sterling

When the entire group settled in the dining room, dinner was served. The food was not overly fancy since it was an ordinary meal. In addition, Silas showed up without much warning. 

However, it was still a decent spread, and the company was lively. The Campbell family was not strict about talking while eating, so it was not a boring meal. Silas also had some interesting things to say about the current world news. 

Charlotte and Isaiah engaged him in conversation while the rest just listened to the anecdotes and chuckled lightly. Amelia and Holly knew better than to butt into the adults' conversation, and Mason rarely talked unless talked to, especially during meals. 

Leila's reason for not engaging was a little different. She did not want to participate in the conversation, but she was not listening for more important reasons. Her current situation had little to do with the lacklustre opinions on the finance market and global peace.
