Chapitre 49: Sisters

When Leila and Amelia returned home, it was already late afternoon, almost evening. They had already dropped off Luca at his building which was cleared by the police. The ride back to the Campbell mansion was quiet. 

As they walked up to the house after alighting the car, Amelia tried to start a conversation.

"So, you seemed to get on with Lucas. Did you like him?" She asked.

Leila almost laughed at the question because Amelia was being transparent. If the truth were told, she still thought Amelia could be a successful person. Unfortunately, she was caught up in small benefits.

"I did. He is as interesting as you said he would be." Leila replied. "You were right when you said that we would get along. He is my kind of person."

Amelia looked uncomfortable for a moment. "Yeah, he is always so welcoming and warm to people."
