Chapitre 32: Honesty

Destiny's POV

"My friends, you all know my son, Alex," Thomas said, and his guest chorused with yes.

"I would like you to meet Destiny, the beautiful woman my son had a date with tonight. Destiny, these are my friends; I can't introduce them one by one since you won't be able to memorize their names." Thomas added as he stood up from his seat. I quickly pulled my hand away from Alex and listened to the loud beating of my heart.

I know my face turned beet red, and I wished to disappear and hide inside.

"Gentlemen, this is my granddaughter's governess and the woman behind my son's smile, Destiny," Thomas added as he looked at his friends while Red's face darkened.

I couldn't fathom why, until now, he hated me when I should have been the one who threw him a horrendous look.
