AUTHOR'S POV
In soft, rhythmic taps, Alexander's fingers stroked his armrest almost restlessly. It had been roughly two hours since the meeting started, two hours of listening to proposals that were mostly about proposals that didn't quite sit with the agenda of the meeting. Some were meaningful, but that was only a small fraction of the whole.
The only thing he regretted at this point was not creating a fixed time for the meeting, but he wasn't as selfish as these other Alphas to suddenly include this for his personal gain. He also despised the idea of giving these wolves unreasonable excuses for personally solving certain issues the way they deemed fit without consulting the council because there was no time to discuss it.
