Chapitre 46: FIRST KISS

My body went still, my entire world went still. I felt as distant from my body as the faint moonlight that peered through the tiny hole from the closed curtain of my room.

Alexander's lips were on mine. Soft, hot, and demanding. Softer than anything I've ever known. It was as soft as biting into cotton candy, like the feel of a first snowfall. And amidst the softness of his lips, there was desperation, anger maybe, like he had something to prove.

I realized I was staring wide-eyed when he clasped my body to his, bringing my chest to his, to the feel of his steady heartbeat.

My knees grew weak from my body trying to process the beautiful sensation of his lips on mine and the shock from Alexander's sudden behavior. My fingers trembled as they moved up to Alexander's firm, muscular arm, wrapped around my waist, for support. I'd have stumbled to the floor if I didn't.
