Viona held her stomach. The woman is hungry. Wearing sports trousers and an oversized t-shirt, Viona continued walking without knowing where to go. Where should she go when her mind is so confused?
"It's true what people say, expecting too much is painful," she muttered. The woman looked up at the sky filled with flying birds, "If possible, I want to be one of you. Free to fly without burden," she continued muttering.
She chose to sit on one of the long chairs on the edge of the sidewalk, she muttered again cursing her stupidity, "You're stupid, Viona. Maybe you immediately decide to stop working just because of what rich people like them say. Have you forgotten how rich people usually behave?"
"Arrogance is indeed the food of rich people. How could you forget that? You're there to take care of Sammy's needs anyway, forget all that. Did you see it? The money for the orphanage just disappeared!"
Viona sighed, "But never mind. It's too late. Everything can no longer be repeated."
Ultimately, Viona tried to accept the situation and find a way to get that much money for the orphanage.
Feeling the wind blowing around the thick big trees made Viona sleepy. She leaned her head back relaxedly and began to close her tired eyes. However…
'drrrt... drrrt... drrrt...' Viona's cell phone vibrated and dispersed her drowsiness. Jansen's name appeared on her cell phone screen.
"Hmm. What is it? Didn't you say you were..."
'Good afternoon, Miss. We are from the central police. Do you know the owner of this cell phone?'
The greeting from the other side of the call made Viona raise an eyebrow. She also got up and sat down. Her mind began to wonder why it wasn't Jansen who called her at this time, but rather the central police.
"This is my friend's cell phone. Why is this cell phone on you?" Viona started asking questions. She started to worry.
'We found this cell phone next to the body of the man who died in the shooting incident. In the call history list, Viona's name is written. Is that you?'
"Right, that's me. Then what happened?" she asked again.
'For the next explanation, please come to the city center police station. We are waiting for your arrival, Miss Viona.'
Didn't wait long, and the call was disconnected. Now Viona was silent, trying to guess what happened.
"What happened to you, Jansen? Why were you so careless about leaving your cell phone next to your victim's corpse? You suck!" Viona, who was worried, became annoyed because she thought Jansen's carelessness was too excessive this time.
She couldn't understand why Jansen could be so careless in his mission. Moreover, there was Major General Kenneth nearby. Viona knew that because Jansen had previously said goodbye to her to accompany the former general to settle his revenge.
Viona appreciated and let the former General do that, but she refused to help. The woman was determined not to wet her hands again with other people's blood. It was enough for her to do all this while carrying out military duties fighting the country's enemies, not as a mafia.
After all, Jansen was willing to accompany Major General Kenneth to the end. Viona understood that Jansen's mafia soul was so excited when faced with a fight like that.
The news that Viona heard was that Jansen and Major General Kenneth had found the location of Albert aka Nino Alfonso, who was in a scrap metal factory area in the city center. And the night Viona came to Joe's house was when the two of them acted.
However, Viona did not think that Jansen's cell phone would fall at the scene and had to drag her to the police station.
Actually, not only thinking about Jansen's cell phone which was left at the scene of the crime, Viona was also curious about the news about Major General Kenneth who decided to surrender after his revenge mission was completed.
"Then where are you going, Jansen? Why haven't you said anything this afternoon?" she continued, mumbling irritably and starting to stand up. Viona decided to go to the city center police station to find out everything that happened.
While waiting for Viona, who has to travel several hours to the central police station, let's go back to the big house which now feels cold again after Viona left there.
"Mommy… I want to meet you, Mommy…"
The little man in his nightgown looked up at the dark sky, staring at the brightest star in the sky. Sammy changed his position to sit with his legs crossed, holding onto the iron railing of his balcony.
"Do you know what happened to Grandma, Mom? Why does it seem like she doesn't like Aunt Bee?"
Sammy mumbled again and without realizing he changed his position lying bare on the balcony floor. He looked back at the night sky, at the stars, as if the brightest star was his mother.
"Did you know, Mom? Aunt Bee was here for a while..."
"I don't know who she is, but I feel like you are in the form of Aunt Bee..."
"I'm sad. Why did she leave me like you left me, Mom? Even though she had promised to always accompany me. Just as you promised, Mom…"
"Why did you and Aunt Bee leave? Am I a naughty child, so you guys abandoned me and don't want to play with me?"
The little boy continued to chatter, inviting the stars to talk. That was a habit that Sammy did when he was very sad. And after being satisfied with telling his sadness to the stars in the sky, he felt satisfied, as if he had told his late mother everything.
Without Sammy knowing, from the start, there was Ben who was also on the balcony. Coincidentally, Sammy and Ben's rooms were next to each other and had a connecting balcony. Tonight, Ben again observed and listened to his little one's feelings for the stars in the night sky.
'What bad luck for you, Sammy. But unfortunately, my complaints to God to end your sadness have not been heard by Him...' Ben muttered sadly to himself. He again felt his helplessness as an uncle to Sammy.
As an uncle, Ben can't do much because Sammy is Joe's son. Everything about Sammy only Joe can decide.
Tonight, he could only wait for his nephew to fall asleep bringing his sadness again like the previous nights. And after that, Ben lifted the little one back into his room.

"Sammy, open the door…"
"It's already afternoon, Sammy. Aren't you going to school?"
This morning, Joe, who was ready in his office suit, still had to be busy waking Sammy up in his room. His head felt dizzy because Sammy acted again by locking his room. Even though he had knocked repeatedly, Sammy still hadn't answered anything from inside.
"Sammy, open the door or I'll break it in now!" shouted Joe, who was starting to run out of patience.
"What is it?" asked Ben who had just come out of his room. He also looks neat and ready to go to the office.
"Sammy's acting up again. He locked his room again." Joe replied, annoyed.
"Maybe he's still sleeping. Don't be too hard on him," Ben responded and came closer to Sammy's bedroom door.
"Sammy, wake up. Aren't you going to school, Little Hero?" Ben helped wake his nephew.
Silence, still no response from within.
"It seems he went to bed early last night. But why haven't you woken up until now?" Ben muttered confusedly.
"You suck. I told you he was acting up again. Sammy doesn't usually wake up late, this is just a trick to make him late for school," Joe said to his little brother, "Sammy, open the door now or I'll break this door down!" he continued shouting.
"Tsk, shut up. I told you not to be too hard on him. He's just a little kid who sometimes likes to be lazy about school. No need to break down the door, you idiot!" Ben didn't accept it, then cursed at Joe again.
Ben walked quickly towards his room again, making Joe mumble in annoyance without stopping trying to wake his son.
However, after several minutes of waiting, the door finally opened and Ben was there, "Hurry up and call the doctor, Sammy has a fever!" said Ben hastily beside Sammy, who still seemed to have his eyes closed even though he had been woken up several times.
Joe immediately came in and approached his son. He was surprised to find that Sammy's body felt hot, "It must be because he only ate a little at lunch and refused to dinner. Tsk, why is this kid always like this?" he complained.
"Even though it's come to this, you still blame your child? Are you crazy?" Ben didn't accept Joe's complaints, "Get out of the way!" he continued, pushing Joe away.
"Where are you taking Sammy?" Joe asked confused when he saw Ben lift Sammy.
"Of course to the hospital. Who will look after him if he is cared for at home? You've fired the nanny, right? How could you possibly have time to take care of it all day long with a pile of office matters."
Ben's words sounded cold. The uncle took Sammy out of the room, leaving Joe who looked annoyed at the situation.
"Damn!" he cursed while roughly scratching his face, "Why did we end up back in a situation like this?"
Joe didn't expect something like this to happen again. About Sammy who was sick because he was crying over Viona's departure, which was the same as when his mother died. But what could he do if Viona herself also gave up and chose to leave, leaving sadness in his son's heart?
