So glad I found this hidden gem whilst browsing the Cupid’s Quill event comments as multiple people recommended it! I was not disappointed, and it’s so well-written that I don’t mind the slower pace. I’m only halfway through what’s currently published, and I find myself eager to read more. My one small critique I have is it’s a bit lacking in the world building aspect since it is a fantasy romance novel, but that may change as the story progresses further. The characters, dialogue, and the overall premise of the story so far has my full attention, and I look forward to seeing where the author takes us with her story!
The story has a nice flow to it however it’s quite terrifying to marry someone that has that reputation 😱

I picked up this story because someone recommended it. So far (7 chapters in) it’s been entertaining enough for me to want to continue. The pace of the story development is decent, but the background/setting is a bit lacking - so I haven’t felt immersed yet. The characters seem a bit one dimensional so far, but it’s only 7 chapters in, so that could all change soon. The take-home message is that there’s enough for me to want to keep reading for now.
Had heard from others that this was a much needed read, and I agree. Very well written.
I’m writing this review for the fast pass from the event. I didn’t even read this book but on the event comments they say this book is good
I like this a lot. This is good. Well written. Good paced. And you cant help to fall for the characters. Good job author.
