Chapitre 25: Careful, your intentions are showing

Slowly, Artie could feel herself learning the way around the castle. She was actually able to pick out some of the tapestries as Sir Kay led her in the direction of her room. But, she could also feel the exhaustion creeping as well, and knew she wasn't moving as quickly as she normally would. She tried to hide it, but with her attention on her feet and the area around her, she was surprised when someone cleared their throat beside her. 

"Pardon me, Your Highness." It was the only warning she received before Sir Kay swept her off of her feet and into his arms gently, carrying her in a princess hold. Shocked, Artie stared up into his face and watched as his cheeks tinged red slightly. 

"I was doing just fine, Sir Kay." She muttered, and watched as his lips quirked up slightly.
