"Welcome home, Rika. Did you have fun spending the night out? Was it fun to worry me like this? Do you not have anything to say to me?"

The dorm lady was seething and angry towards Rika, and her fury was justified.

The first clause of renting this place was to tell the dorm lady when she would spend the night out. This rule could not be negotiated.

"B-Before you jump to conclusions, let me tell you that it was not my fault. There is a good reason why I ended up spending the night out like I did. So, if you please allow me to enter, I will tell you."

Rika laid out the terms for something wrong before the dorm lady could make more conclusions.

The dorm lady's expression softened, and she giggled.

"I know that something must have happened. You are not an irresponsible girl, Rika. So, care to tell me what happened?"

The dorm lady asked as she allowed Rika to enter the dorm.
