Chapitre 49: Chapter 49

Seeing Diana Rigg angry, William quickly said, "I was a guest at Kensington Palace today, accompanying Prince Wilson and Prince Harry on horseback. I received an invitation from Prince Wilson yesterday. How could I not come when a prince invites me?"

"William, can't you come up with a better lie? You don't even know the prince. How could you possibly be a guest at Kensington Palace?"

William looked at Wilson and Prince Harry, who were eavesdropping beside him, and asked for help, "Wilson, help me out here."

Wilson seized the opportunity to make a demand, "You owe me a favor, and you'll have to repay it when I ask."

William thought for a moment and said, "Alright, I'll owe you a favor, but it has to be something I can do."

"OK," Wilson and William shook hands, sealing the agreement, and Wilson took William's phone.

Prince Wilson answered the phone and said, "Hello, Miss Diana, this is Wilson Louis."

On the other end of the line, Diana Rigg suddenly screamed, startling William, who had to move the phone away from his ear. "Oh my God, are you really Prince Wilson? You're not lying to me, are you? How do you know William? Can I interview you, Your Highness?"

Wilson was stunned by Diana Rigg's barrage of questions, and Prince Harry, sympathizing with his brother, said to William with schadenfreude, "I feel a bit sorry for you now, William. My girlfriend never bothers me."

William retorted unceremoniously, "Harry, you little kid, girlfriend? Have you even held a girl's hand? I heard the queen is very strict with you. Your brother had several girlfriends by the time he was fifteen, and you haven't even had one yet."

"Damn it, who's spreading these rumors? I've had a girlfriend for a long time; I just didn't let anyone know. I only told Wilson, and now you're the second to know," Harry quickly explained to William. "But please don't tell anyone. My mother wants me to wait until I'm sixteen to officially have a girlfriend. It's only a few months away, so please don't let her find out," he said, placing his hand on William's shoulder.

"Don't worry, I'm very tight-lipped. If the queen finds out, it'll definitely be because you gave yourself away," William assured him.

Harry was taken aback, his expression saying, "William, I didn't know you were like this."

"My God, I shouldn't have told you. I didn't expect you to be so shameless."

"Ha, Harry, I'm just teaching you not to reveal your secrets, not even to your best friends. Alright, alright, I'm just kidding. I wouldn't actually rat you out. Relax, I won't say a word," William said with a smile, patting Harry's shoulder.

"Hey, William, Diana says you still owe her a favor. Can you fulfill it today? How about we test your archery skills at Kensington? I've heard you boast about them at the press conference, and there's an indoor archery range here," Wilson suggested.

"NONONO, it can't be at Kensington. Letting so many reporters in would be too troublesome and unsafe," William refused, glancing at his watch. "It's only 3 o'clock. How about we go to the Olympic Sports Hall? It's not far from here. If you both want to go, you'd better get the queen's permission first. Otherwise, I won't dare to take you out."

"OK, no problem. Wilson and I often go out," Harry agreed excitedly.

Seeing Wilson nod in agreement, Harry quickly called the queen.

William took the phone and said to Diana Rigg, "Darling, can you go to the Olympic Hall now? If everything goes smoothly, we'll start at 4 o'clock. How about it?"

Diana Rigg quickly responded, "No problem, William. I'll apply for an interview car right now. Our supervisor will definitely approve it. William, you head to the Olympic Hall directly. The TV station will rent the venue. You're amazing. See you later. I'll go report to my supervisor now," and then she hung up.

"William, my mother agreed that Wilson and I can go, but we have to be back by 6," Harry said happily to William.

"OK, Wilson and Harry, you go get ready. I need to go to the archery range first to prepare. I need to familiarize myself with a bow before the test begins, or it'll be really embarrassing if I mess up. Let's meet at the archery range. I need to go now. See you later, Wilson, Harry."

Wilson and Harry nodded, "Alright, see you later."

William left the stables and, led by a servant, drove to the archery range.

When William arrived at the Olympic Archery Hall, the staff had already received notification from the BBC and knew that William would be coming to test his archery skills.

William bought a set of sportswear at the archery range, changed into it, and, led by a middle-aged coach, went to pick a bow and arrows. William chose a high-poundage recurve bow, adjusted it to 64 pounds, and tried it out with ease.

William's strength was now several times that of an average adult male. Pulling a 64-pound bow was no problem at all. The coach was stunned; he had never seen someone pull a 64-pound bow so effortlessly, like it was only 20 pounds.

Curiously, the coach took the bow from William, tried it, and managed to pull it back but found it very strenuous. After a few seconds, his arm began to tremble, and he quickly released the bowstring.

William smiled at the coach, who was looking at him like he was a monster. He carefully selected 30 arrows and asked the coach to take him to the shooting range.

He still had half an hour to get accustomed. William had always been skilled with bows and arrows, like being at level 99 but unable to complete the task to reach level 100.

Now, with Hawkeye's experience of never missing a shot and perfect hand-eye coordination from Marvel, combined with his physical condition, he quickly leveled up to 100.

After adjusting to the bow with about ten arrows, William became familiar with its parameters. The next 20 arrows all hit the bullseye, and the last ten were shot with his eyes closed, still all hitting the bullseye.

As he stopped, William heard applause from not far behind him. Turning, he saw Wilson, Harry, and four bodyguard-like men in black suits and sunglasses.

William put down the bow and arrows, stepped forward, and hugged Wilson and Harry.

Harry, excitedly putting his arm around William's shoulder, said, "William, can you teach me? You're so cool. I think archery is the best sport for men now, way cooler than golf and tennis. If I could be like you, the girls at school would all be throwing themselves at me."

"Come on, Harry. Last time you said speed shooting was the coolest. You've been practicing for months. Now that you're just getting good, you want to learn something else. If your mom finds out, you're in trouble," Wilson teased from the side.

"Wilson, you're just jealous. Jealous that I'm better at speed shooting than you. William, you don't know that Wilson has been practicing for months and still often misses the target. I think I have a natural talent for shooting," Harry said.

"Harry, if you want to learn, of course, you can. But if you really want to learn, be prepared to practice for ten years. I've been practicing archery for almost ten years, and I don't think your talent in archery can match mine. You won't be able to get as good as me in just a few months," William said without a hint of modesty.

"Exactly, Harry. Stick to speed shooting. William has been practicing for ten years to get to this level. Archery is much harder to learn than shooting," Wilson warned Harry not to be so fickle.

"Alright, I'll keep practicing speed shooting. But can I practice archery while also practicing speed shooting? William, I can teach you speed shooting, and you can teach me archery," Harry insisted, still unwilling to give up.

"Okay, it's worth a try. If you have the talent, it can be a hobby. If not, you can give up early. But Harry, I'm also very good at shooting," William said with a smile.

"Haha, that's great. Let's have a competition sometime. As for Wilson, forget it. I think I can beat him even with one hand," Harry said, making a face at Wilson.

Wilson, laughing, said, "You said it. Next time, let's see how big your boast is."

William, amused by the brothers' banter, laughed heartily, "Wilson, if you really compete with Harry using one hand, you'll become everyone's laughingstock."

Realizing this, Wilson thought, "Yeah, if I really did that, it would be so embarrassing."

But looking at Harry, who was snickering, Wilson, knowing his brother didn't mean any harm and just wanted to see him embarrassed, smiled and shook his head in resignation.
