Rose didn't have the time to turn her attention to getting back at Mathias for what he was doing now. She was to focus on getting her freedom. If karma did exist, Rose was leaving it to that for Mathias to regret his actions and for Graham to be treated as he treated others.

Rose didn't want to ruin herself by stooping low to others' ways. Too much of her life had gone by in a place she did not want to be to turn around now when she had freedom and focus on Mathias. It wasn't guaranteed that she would feel satisfied after getting revenge.
