Soon, a waiter led us to one of the private rooms.

The decor of this private room wasn't luxurious, but it was much fancier than the usual dining places, showing that Ling Jie was quite willing to spend.

Ling Jie said with a smile, "I invited everyone to eat here today, no objections, right? I must tell you, this hotpot city is the hottest place around, and securing a private room is really difficult; we're quite lucky today."

Hearing this, I couldn't help but feel that big cities are indeed different; even a dining spot here can compare to the most luxurious hotel in our town.

"Alright, we're all sisters here, so don't be shy. Order whatever you want to eat. There's the divided pot, spicy pot, seafood, and everything else one could wish for," Ling Jie greeted us with a laugh.

No one said much else, and we soon picked up the menus to start ordering.
