STELLA’s POV

The journey to Tyler’s house was quiet and awkward. No one dared to talk but I knew deep inside our hearts that we already understand each other.

He loves me. He said he loves me and he knew why I couldn’t answer him yet. But the way he held my hand in his, and my head rested on his shoulder as we sat inside the car was enough for him to know that my trust was fully on him.

Tyler’s estate overlooked Hudson River in Tarrytown, New York, about a half-mile south of the Tappan Zee Bridge. The view was breathtaking as I glanced at it with my mouth slightly parted in awe.

On the way to his mansion, we passed a football court, which reminded me of high school. He loved to play football back then and it was one of the reasons why he asked me to tutor him.

“What are you thinking, hmm…?” he asked as he placed a soft kiss on my forehead.
