I was never the jealous kind. I always knew that no matter what, the boys will always end up favouring me the most. I was always confident when it came to that. Always. If anything, guys would start up fights over me whereas I barely gave a shit.

But today, I was seeing red. Deep, dark, bloody red. Especially when Uno didn’t come home last night. I waited for him, I waited for his call but I didn’t receive any from him, even just a single text.

And when I called Vernon to pick me up this morning, he said he’s not in NewArc anymore. He transferred to where his group of friends were studying, obviously to Kingsborough. I asked him why, but he didn’t answer.

And I wonder why he had made a huge decision like that without informing me. I was his bestfriend, duh? Was the girl she’s in love with, had something to do with this? I hope not, because I knew Vernon. He wouldn’t do a stupid decision like that just because of a girl. Unless, he’s really in love with her.
