Knocking softly on the door, Lexzandra waits for it to open, a small strawberry cake balanced carefully in her hands.

The anticipation is palpable, her heart fluttering with the hope of bringing joy to Auden.

When the double doors finally swing open, Auden's nanny greets her with a look of surprise; it's not often the princess visits so early in the morning.
