Zaya's question hung in the air between us, her words sending a rush of heat to my face. The intensity of the moment, combined with the proximity of our bodies, made it almost impossible to think straight. Her green eyes sparkled with mischief, her confidence evident in the way she held me.

For a split second, I felt myself leaning in, drawn by the magnetic pull between us. But then, reality crashed back in. Carmen. I was engaged to Carmen. This was just a professional shoot, and I couldn't let myself get carried away.

I quickly turned my head to the side, breaking the spell. "I'm engaged," I said softly, but firmly. "I can't."

Zaya blinked, a flicker of surprise crossing her face before she regained her composure. "Engaged, huh?" she said, her voice dropping to a more conversational tone. "Lucky person."
