Ciara's POV

"Vulcan, what's wrong? I didn't do anything wrong to you, please let me go," I pleaded.

"Don't move. I'm warning you," he said, finally arriving and standing in front of me.

"I know what you did to Ariana, and I'm not letting you go until you tell me where she is."

I hissed inwardly before taking a deep breath. Were we still on the Ariana issue? I thought he had found out about the check I had stolen.

He grasped my arm. "I promise I don't have Ariana. What would I be doing with her?"

"You tell me," he insisted, delaying my departure.

"What makes you think I know where Ariana is? Besides, you should ask Mia, she told me the two of you left together. Have you tried calling her?" I argued.

"I have. It hasn't been going through, and that's unlike Ariana," he said, his eyes flashing with concern, which had nothing to do with me. I just needed him to let go and allow me to leave.
