"Um... to transfer data," the shorter witch said hesitantly, her voice breaking the silence.
Ruby leaned back slightly, pretending to look overwhelmed. "I'm really sorry," she began, her tone carrying a hint of exhaustion. "I've been so busy lately. You know, I still haven't received my PIC card yet, and I need it to open my bank account and register my business. Ugh, just thinking about it makes me tired already," she added, letting out a fake sigh as she rubbed her temple for effect.
The taller witch's eyes widened in disbelief. "Oh, Miss Ruby! You want to start a business?" she asked, her voice filled with surprise.
"Yeah, I'm planning to start one soon," Ruby replied casually, her tone sharp but giving away nothing more.
Never tell too much about your plans—things can go wrong if you share everything, she thought, sticking to her resolve.
The two witches exchanged glances, their expressions curious but unreadable.
