The Queen was kept in a prison and it's been three days already.

Located far away from where others used, the grey high-walled cell heightened the loneliness that she tried not to run from. The room was almost devoid of any light safe for the small square window high up to the ceiling, not even Razhal could reach it in human form.

She had been briefly told that she was to be imprisoned pending when her sanity is returned to its place. Which in clear terms meant the King wanted her to remain submissive and docile until he deems it fit to have her released. So Verona was left with the ghosts in the dreary cell, the ghosts of both the dead and the living.

Some days it would be her parents, who she hadn't spoken to since her widowhood, while some were just Gal and Farah moving around her the way they used to. She would even sometimes catch a glimpse of herself, or rather what she used to be.
