After landing, Arthur rolled to dissipate the impact force. Then, with a swift motion of his sword, much to the surprise of the cloaked figure, the seemingly ordinary single-handed sword began to glow.

Sword skill, Baptism of the Holy Sword!

Activated by the system, a low-level sword skill was unleashed with Arthur's single-handed sword. Although Arthur had used it against a player in the Starting Town yesterday, it was merely intimidating and had no effect. However, this time Arthur intended more than just intimidation.

In the eyes of the cloaked figure, the faint glow that was originally on the sword suddenly surged into a brilliant light, prompting an instinctive closure of the eyes. However, the monsters facing Arthur didn't have this reaction. At the moment of the intense light burst, all monsters directly facing it were afflicted with the blindness status.

The low-level sword skill, Baptism of the Holy Sword, utilized this holy light-like burst to blind enemies, followed by a swift sword strike!

Swish, swish, swish!

The cloaked figure, with eyes closed, didn't witness the terrifying speed at which Arthur executed his sword technique. All they heard were the sounds of the weapon piercing through monsters and the sound of their health bars dropping to zero, followed by their bodies bursting into fragments.

After using the Baptism of the Holy Sword, Arthur swiftly slew the monsters before him. Even the system's prompt asking if he wanted to upgrade the Baptism of the Holy Sword went unnoticed.

However, even so, the vacancy in front of him was soon filled with a multitude of monsters.

Arthur focused, swinging his single-handed sword three times. The terrifying effect brought by his mastery of sword skills at level 4 was fully demonstrated at this moment. In the eyes of the cloaked figure, Arthur casually swung his sword three times, but all the insect-type monsters in front of Arthur bore uniform scars on their heads. Their health bars then dropped to zero, and their bodies burst into pieces.

However, even the trap set by Kyaba, the treasure chest trap, wasn't as formidable in a low-level area like the first floor. After Arthur single-handedly cleared the monsters three times, the trap was declared null and void.

Although it looked simple, Arthur, after all, was alone and inevitably suffered some damage amidst the pile of monsters. Fortunately, his health remained stable.

After clearing the monsters, Arthur breathed a sigh of relief and sheathed his single-handed sword. At present, monsters wouldn't appear in this area anymore. After all, Kyaba probably didn't expect someone to single-handedly destroy a treasure chest trap at this stage.

It wasn't until this moment that the bewildered cloaked figure reacted when Arthur approached.

Arthur looked at the figure wearing a khaki hooded cloak, feeling somewhat familiar.

"Oh, young man, thank you very much." Just then, the cloaked figure spoke up.

Still a woman? Arthur's mouth twitched. Wow, why are female players so afraid of being seen? Why do both of the female players I've encountered like to wear these incredibly shabby-looking cloaks?

"It's just a small effort. By the way, don't just rush into dangerous areas alone," Arthur said kindly.

"Well, I didn't expect it either, to be different from the closed beta period," the cloaked figure replied with a sense of post-disaster relief.

Closed beta period? Catching the keyword, Arthur looked at the cloaked figure fixedly.

Feeling somewhat embarrassed under Arthur's gaze, the cloaked figure said, "Um, excuse me, why are you looking at me like that? Even I feel a little shy."

"Are you a closed beta player?" Arthur asked, his tone questioning but with a hint of certainty on his face.

"Yes, I am. I'm Argo, known as the Rat during the closed beta period, an information broker," the cloaked figure said, lowering her hood to reveal a pretty face, except for the addition of drawn-on stubble, which destroyed some of the original beauty but inexplicably brought a playful and cute charm.

Argo? Arthur didn't expect that the person he saved was the most famous information broker in SAO. His most vivid memory of Argo was at the beginning of the game, when she distributed Aincrad strategy guides at all costs, greatly reducing the number of deaths among players. Otherwise, whether half of the players could survive until the game was cleared was questionable. In short, despite her seemingly merchant-like demeanor, Argo did something great. At least, Arthur didn't think he would do something completely unrewarding, let alone as a player who considered himself a merchant. So, Arthur still held a certain amount of respect for her.

Seeing the stunned Arthur, Argo thought he was surprised after knowing her identity, so she didn't mind. Instead, she looked at Arthur curiously. "So, young man, you're such a powerful player, but I've never heard of you in the closed beta period."

Hearing Argo's words, Arthur calmly said, "Sorry, I'm not a closed beta player."

"Oh, I see. Then..." Argo nodded, then realized, surprised, as she looked at Arthur, "You're not a closed beta player!!!" Argo widened her eyes, astonished, looking at Arthur, who appeared calm and composed.

"Yeah," Arthur nodded.

"Ah!!!" Argo suddenly hugged her head, squatting on the ground in embarrassment and shame, making sobbing sounds. It turns out she was too subjective. She assumed that someone with such powerful strength at the beginning of the game must be a closed beta player. Empiricism can really lead to mistakes! This is fatal for an information broker, just like the treasure chest trap earlier.

"Um, are you okay?" Seeing Argo feeling so dejected, Arthur kindly asked.
