Chapitre 42: Exports and imports
"Well... I think it has now reached a time for us to stop those Litkesh bastards from selling their merchandise in our kingdom. Those merchants from the damned Litkesh kingdom should look for a market elsewhere... They can't give us a headache when we could just stop this shit easily once and for all. Another thing, we can release an order that stops our people from making their own stuff. We are the only ones who should be fabricating everything, be it the clothes they wear, the food they eat, the furnitures, building their houses. All this work should be left for the Whiddiff palace to do. For them, their work would be to buy the items that we fabricate and there will be no importation of stupid stuffs like reeds for roofing, we will only do exportation of the stuffs created by Whiddiff palace." Alexander placed the scroll back to the table and stared back at Virtya.
Truthfully, what Alexandre had suggested might work, however, even if Virtya chosed that path, he would still not manage to raise 20 million gold coins, it was far-fetched. He might raise 5 million but not 20.
Furthermore, the natives would not accept Virtya to humiliate them like that, many of the natives in Whiddiff city and the kingdom of Azuhai depended heavily on business and agriculture.
After all, there were no minerals in Azuhai kingdom which could enable the kingdom to receive fat income to sustain it.
"That will not work. However, I will try the exportation of the merchandise that I fabricated. The Litkesh bastards are ahead of us in that they could export their clothes and carriages to our kingdom but we on the other hand we are not doing that... Why?" Virtya stared at Alexandre intently and said,
"Tomorrow... Start the exportation of the furnitures, carriages and the clothes to the Litkesh kingdom, Magyo kingdom and the Ugley kingdom. I want these kingdoms to be painted with our flag." Virtya declared before he stood up.
"I will make sure to deliver." Alexandre patted Virtya's shoulder as they walked out of the meeting room.
That morning, several caravans of carriages that were carring clothes and the furnitures left Golton district and departed to Magyo kingdom, Litkesh kingdom and Ugley.
When one took a peek at the streets of Whiten district, they would see that only a few people were wearing the old age clothes, many of them were wearing the modern clothes but most of these clothes were made in Litkesh kingdom.

It was in the month of early August when Virtya received a reply from the caravans that he sent to the three neighboring kingdoms.
The caravans that he sent to Magyo kingdom were impounded and his representatives were killed mercilessly by the knights of the kingdom of Magyo. This was because a message was already sent beforehand that no one from the kingdom of Azuhai should pass over to enter into Magyo kingdom, All who passed the border and entered to Magyo were to be rained with arrows and their heads to be separated from their bodies and stuck onto the wall that separated Magyo kingdom from Azuhai.
As one should know, Magyo kingdom was rich in resources and minerals which brought money to them and that was why they were able to build a wall to separate Magyo from Azuhai
On the other hand, the caravan that entered into Litkesh kingdom was not disturbed it was just that those bastards were too patriotic in that no one bothered to buy the products that were made in Azuhai, they preferred their own products over those ones from other kingdoms. Furthermore, the caravans from Azuhai had to pay a high tax for doing business in Litkesh kingdom as foreigners.
Meanwhile, the caravan that was sent to Ugley kingdom was well received and they managed to sell a few products even if the absurd prices of the goods made many disinterested, Nonetheless, it was a success in Ugley as compared to other neighboring kingdoms
