Chapitre 48: Chapter 48 it has to be her
Anlan boarded a taxi home and was happy that she didn't encounter with Ye juemo or any of his men after last night she had thought that he was going to make her life a living hell but it seemed like he had already moved on easily it was for the best because she didn't even think of considering such an offer even if it had a large amount of money attached to it. When she got home there was no one home cause Yao yao was still at school and Han Jing was probably at work , Anlan dropped her bags on the couch and went to the kitchen to check if there was any food but unfortunately there wasn't and she didn't even know how to cook . She wasn't going to blame herself for not knowing how to cook when she had to spend most of her life away from her family.
She walked into the room to have her bath and when she was done she changed into a simple dress and returned to the living room she was just about to open the fridge when her phone rang, it was Zichen
"Hello"Anlan said after the call had connected
"Hello darling"A soft voice said from the other end and Anlan was sure that it wasn't Zichen it was grandma
"Grandma how are you doing?"Anlan asked and returned to the couch
"I'm fine I called to know how you were doing with Yao yao"Grandma said faintly
"We're all okay... what of you guys back there"Anlan asked the last sentence calmly
"Everything is ok... Your mum's health isn't getting any better she has been unconscious for few days now and I'm getting worried"Grandma voice rang out along with tiny sobs
"It's okay grandma everything will be okay..where is Zichen"Anlan asked trying to hold back her tears she didn't want grandma to also get worried because of her
"He's been busy lately and comes home late.. well he's not home now"Grandma replied and sighed softly
"Please take care of yourself and mum.. everything will be okay"Anlan said
"Okay bye"Said grandma and Anlan disconnected the call. She dropped her phone down gently and held her slender legs tightly she cried profusely. She wasn't ready to loose her mom even if she was ever going to leave it couldn't be now she still hasn't fufilled her mum's wish to be successful and make her mum proud. She still hadn't spent valid time with her yet and wasn't ready to loose her . Anlan lay on the couch crying

Han Jing walked around to each wards making sure that everything was neat and alright and that the patients had gotten the right treatment. She walked into an empty ward that was neatly arranged and a her face suddenly turned dull ever since she attended to the man in this ward she couldn't stop thinking about him for some unknown reasons. She walked closer to the bed and stood there looking at the bed when her eyes met with something on the drawer it was a credit card she picked it up and wondered if it was his and he had forgotten it. Well it didn't matter because she didn't even know where to find him if she was to return it to him and he seemed rich and a single credit card didn't actually matter did it? Han Jing asked herself but she still shoved the card into her pocket and left the room.

"How can she refuse such an offer I don't think she knows what she's missing but it doesn't actually have to be her there are lots of other girls out there who can do this job"Xio Sheng said to Ye juemo who was busily using his laptop
"It has to be her.. I've given chance of one week and I'm sure she would still come"Ye juemo replied in a domineering manner without looking up
"I admit she's pretty and delicate but is there so much time to wait for her"Xio Sheng asked rhetorically and scoffed
"Don't you have anything doing than to just sit here?"Ye juemo asked coldly giving Xio Sheng a dark gaze
"I'll be leaving"Xio Sheng stood up and left
