Lake tried to push against Davian's chest. The keyword was tried. His limbs had lost their strength so his palms were just splayed out against the Alpha's torso.

The kiss felt like drinking down a jug of hot chocolate, his eyes fluttering shut.

His mental alarms were blaring as he sank deeper and deeper into the kiss, and although he could feel Davian far too well through his jeans, the Alpha was content to simply kiss him.

Lake broke away from the kiss to get some air in his lungs, Davian nosing at the curve of his neck.

His big hands moved feebly as he tried to get his shirt out of the way, his skin hot to the touch.

It made Lake break out of the fog he was falling under, still feeling a little tipsy as he pushed Davian backward till his back connected to the bed.

If he didn't take the lead, they wouldn't get anywhere, and he couldn't reach the bag of toys so he would have to make do with what was within reach.
