Caspian shrank into his blankets when the scolding was focused on him.

It was hard to be intimidated when Jael nagged like a babysitter but he couldn't help but feel a little guilty.

They both got an earful until they were safe in the mansion. The rain had eased off a bit then, the guards all taking shelter.

A hot shower was in order when they got back to the bedroom, their makeout session resuming underneath the hot spray of water.

By the time they were bundled underneath the sheets, Caspian had forgotten about the dark parts of the evening.
