"Well, thank you for letting me know. I'll head over to the correct venue."
As she turns to leave, a thought occurs to her, and she pauses, her eyes narrowing slightly. "This... 'correct' venue," she says, her tone cautious. "Where exactly is it?"
The staff member's smile widens, and he gestures towards the exit. "It's a polo club, ma'am," he explains. "Just a few blocks down the road. I can give you directions if you'd like."
Robin feels her stomach drop, and she shakes her head quickly. "No, that's quite alright," she says, her voice suddenly strained. "I think I'll just... find my way."
With a hurried nod, she turns and leaves the building, her mind reeling. A polo club? She had been under the impression that this was a formal dinner party, not some sort of... sporting club. The very thought of it makes her cringe.
As she steps out into the crisp evening air, Robin wonders what's going on.
