Chapitre 19: A Kieran's Challenge: The Sun Part 1

To say Nico was shocked would be an understatement as he didn't expect that he would meet his sister for a long ass time. But, at the same time, he knew that he had to keep a bit of skepticism, because all he had to go on was her word, and the fact she looked a bit like his mom.

"Tell me something only we would know about mom, then." This was the best way that he could think of to test her as there weren't a lot of ways for her to prove she's his sister.

"Alright. Our mom's bigger than a mountain, has hair as white as mine, skin as dark as yours, lines that look like tattoos coming from her mouth, and she has red eyes just like the both of us. She also can't have children in the normal sense because of some bastards that couldn't keep their dicks in their pants." Eve said as she looked him directly in the eyes.

"Well... damn, you might actually be my older sister then." Even if he was still a little skeptical, he had to admit that she did answer his question flawlessly. If she had said some random bullshit Nico would have been a true advocate for gender equality by trying to beat her ass.

"No shit, Adam! Fucking questioning if I'm your real sister or not... Also! What's with this shit?! You were literally named Adam in your past life, and I'm literally Eve, did mom choose us first because she wanted to say a quick 'fuck you' to Christian's and Catholics?" She ranted on, while Nico's eyes widened at hearing her refer to him as his old name, which he had not heard anyone call him since he was reincarnated.

"Though, I did say my own fuck you to their god by killing it, so I guess like mother like daughter. Especially since I killed the bitch by kicking it in the balls so hard that it literally puked up its guts." She said while shrugging as if she didn't just say she killed the biblical god and was instead talking about a day at work.

"Holy... you killed a god? But, aren't we both just supposed to be regular ass apostle's?" Nico asked while wondering if his sister had already become a god herself, or if the requirements were just so high that some gods were that easy to beat at some point before you could even become one.

"Well, we aren't regular apostle's, since the regular ones can only become Angel's, aka divine slaves! Also, the one I killed was only a copy of a god." Eve said with a look of disgust as if remembering a bad smell.

"Then, if we aren't like them, what are we?" He said while glossing over the 'divine slaves' part as he felt that would open up a can of worms that would make him want to kill some gods himself.

"To explain that, you'll need a bit of lore on our mom." She said as she sat next to him while she brought out a piece of strawberry cake that looked like it had an eyeball on top of it from thin air.

"You see, there are beings that have been around since before creation, and they are called the Elder God's, even though they technically aren't gods. They are considered the most powerful beings because of this, and our mom is the only deity that is on their level, for now." His sister said as she started to eat the slice of cake.

"Now, due to mom being on a higher level than every other deity this gives her apostle's, us, her children, certain privileges that others don't. Hence, why we can become full-fledged gods, and we're even apparently called Primordial Apostle's." Eve finished her explanation by popping the eyeball on the slice of cake into her mouth, which made a sickening pop that almost made Nico gag.

"Please tell me that being a 'Primordial Apostle' doesn't mean I have to eat eyeballs too..." Although he didn't care that much if his sister ate it, he didn't want to put an eyeball anywhere near his mouth.

"Oh! Nah, man, this is more of a me thing. Because just like you, the only 'human' thing I have left of me is my looks and the way I think. Though, unlike you, the other part of me doesn't come from two types of alien's, instead it comes from the wendigo, which is why I'm a cannibal." The apart wendigo said as she finished the cake, and made both plate and fork disappear into nothingness.

"Oh, and before I forget, here!" Eve said as a small portal opened over her brother and his messenger bag fell through it right onto his lap.

"Well thanks and damn, that's... wait... what do mean by two types of alien's? The alien half of me is only Osmosian, right?" Nico wondered if maybe one of the alien DNA's that he absorbed had merged more permanently with his own DNA. Perhaps it was the Nosedeenian, since that would make the most sense that the electric alien one would merge better with him.

"Nope, you got more than Osmosian in you, says so right in your file that Monokuma got mom to make for me." Eve said as she made a black file appear out of nowhere, just like she did with the cake earlier.

As she opened it Nico saw a bunch of papers that had information on him, from how long he's been in his chosen world all the way to how much coffee related things he's consumed in the last couple of years since he first tried coffee. Seems that their mom was very detailed when it comes to taking notes on her children.

"See, it says right here that your cryokinesis is a byproduct of Necrofriggian DNA in your veins, and that mom decided it would be the best way to give you your chosen power. Though, it looks like it's dormant, for what reason, mom didn't put why in here." She said while showing him the paper that showed what species he is, and on it, it had a combination of demigod, Osmosian, and Necrofriggian.

"The fuck!? I'm part Necrofriggian and I never knew!!" Nico yelled out as he stood up from the couch, though this was followed by a question that instantly popped in his mind. "Wait... why do I get so cold when I make ice then?! Shouldn't I be immune to the cold!!"

"That's a side effect of your Necrofriggian side still being dormant. If it weren't for that you could start a new Ice Age if you wanted to. Another side effect of it is you being so damn short, dude." Eve said while looking through the file again, before a strange looking card popped up in front of her.

"One, I really need to unlock my Necrofriggian side, and two, the hell is that card? It looks like it belongs in a game of Bakugan or something." He questioned as he looked at the card that looked like it either had a foreign language on it, or straight up code.

"That would be the challenge card, and it's actually the reason as to why I had Monokuma summon you here to my personal room." She made the file disappear and grabbed the card that was in front of her.

"The hell does it do? Is it like a challenge that we need to do together or something?" He looked at the card in his sister's hand curiously.

"Oh, hell to the no. This is only a you thing, because if I did it, one it wouldn't make sense, and two I would get it done too quickly." Eve said while looking almost offended that her brother would think she couldn't get shit done without him.

"Okay, no need to subtly call me weak sis, so what does the card do?" He rolled his eyes at her attitude, even if she did kill a god in a brutal way, she didn't have to act offended at the idea of needing help from her younger brother.

"It lets me issue a challenge to one of my siblings and send them to a world involving said challenge, and since you're my only sibling, by default it goes to you." She seemed to be typing(?) something on the card, while she told him this.

"Do I at least benefit from this shit? Or is this one of those 'haha, fuck you, here's an inconvenience for you' type shit?" Nico said while he crossed his arms, he would be pissed if this was his sister's idea of a fucking prank.

"Of course you benefit from it. Depending on which of the challenge's you complete, that's the reward you'll get, and if you complete all of them, you get all the rewards at the end. Hell, the world I'm sending you to can probably even give you more powers if you absorb people's Stand's." Eve finished typing on the card and let go of it, letting the card float in front of her again.

"The hell's a Stand? And will this take longer than a few hours?" He said as he grabbed the card and looked at one of the challenges, which said to kill someone named Dio.

"It's physical representation of someone's soul and will to fight in an anime I like, and it'll probably take you a few weeks." If Nico had been drinking something, he would have spat it out the amount of time Eve said the challenge would take.

"A few weeks!? I can't leave my world for a few weeks, or even a day!!" Nico had less than a week to get ready to challenge Vilgax, when the warlord would be fully healed, so he couldn't risk being away for so long. He also didn't want the girls to think he abandoned them for that long.

"Chill out, time froze in your world as soon as you fell through the portal." Eve should have expected her brother to have this type of concern.

"Well that's good to know." He let out a sigh of relief before he asked a question that made Eve look at him like he was a dumbass. "By the way, what's anime?"

.

.

.

"HERETIC!!" She yelled out as if he killed her firstborn right in front of her eyes.

"What the fuck? I just asked a question, no need to go crazy sis!" He didn't understand why she reacted like that to him asking a simple question.

"Shit, sorry! Old habit. But, how do you not know what anime is? We've literally both been isekai'd, dude!" She couldn't really comprehend how he didn't know what an anime is, as she thought he would've watched at least one in either of his lives.

"The fuck does isekai mean?! Stop saying shit I don't understand!" Nico was genuinely confused at this point, because he actually never heard these words before.

"That's it! I'm introducing your ass to anime! Monokuma, delay the challenge for a bit, I need to show his uncultured ass some good shit!" Eve quickly went to the wall parallel to the couch and slammed her hand against it, the next second the biggest TV the Nico has ever seen popped out of the wall.

"I get the feeling I should have kept my mouth shut..." He didn't know why, but he had a bad feeling about whatever she was going to show him.

"We're starting with Gurren Lagann, aka the best mecha anime!" She said as she grabbed the remote to the TV and sat down on the couch next to Nico with a smile on her face.

"Alright, but I doubt I'll enjoy it as much as you apparently do." Nico didn't expect much from whatever she was going to show him, because she still hadn't explained what an anime is.

(27 episodes and several bowls of popcorn later)

"Holy fuck... How have I never heard of this anime stuff before!?" Nico felt like he just watched the will to perceiver in one well animated story with some awesome music and badass combat scenes sprinkled in just to turn that shit up to the max.

"See, now you understand a little more on why I called you a heretic!" Eve said with some popcorn still in her mouth, she was actually really excited to show one of her favorite anime's to her little brother.

"Yeah I do! Can we watch some more?!" He wanted to watch more anime, because if all of it was as good as Gurren Lagann, then he would have one hell of a time binging more.

"Shit, no, sorry, Monokuma's telling me that he won't be able to delay the challenge for much longer." She was disappointed that she couldn't spend more time binging anime with her brother, but her mood quickly picked up as she realized something. "But, I could bring you back here in your dreams!"

Nico quickly nodded in agreement to his sister's idea. He may have had a bad feeling when he saw Yoko with her tits practically exposed to everyone, but the rest of Gurren Lagann had quickly gotten him on the train that is anime.

"Alright then, let's get onto the shit about your challenge, because we did go off topic earlier." Eve said as she made the empty bowl of popcorn disappear just like everything else she didn't have any use for.

"Okay, so, you already know the most basic shit about Stand's, now you just need to know what your three challenge's are, what the rewards are, and who you should not kill under any circumstances." She made the TV display what looked like a slideshow that showed the challenge's and other shit she wrote on the card.

"So, the first challenge I thought of, which is actually the last one you'll do, is to kill Dio, who is the main villain of this part of the anime." The TV showed a picture of a very feminine looking muscular blonde man that Nico had a feeling was gay.

"This guy is a vampire, so he will regenerate unless you absorb him entirely, or expose him completely to sunlight. Now, onto the rewards for completing this challenge." The next thing that was shown on the TV was a nail with blood covering most of it, and a picture of a DNA strand.

"If you kill Dio you'll get a nail covered in saviour juice, aka a nail that pierced the body of christ, which I changed a bit to give you access to any domains you get without needing to make a cult, like I did. You'll also get an upgrade to your Osmosian side, which will make you capable of permanently using any DNA you absorb, no matter how small the sample that you get is." Nico didn't know all that much about Dio, but he was raring to kill him to get these rewards.

"The next challenge is to kill an apostle that was sent to that world, I don't know what the guy looks like, but he is powerful, so be careful. And the reward for killing him is a Stand of your own, and some DNA from an alien that I'll choose for you." The Osmosian didn't really know if getting a Stand would be a good bonus for killing someone that's apparently a powerful person, but he'll figure out if its worth it after he sees some Stand's in action.

"And lastly, but not least, the final challenge I put, is for you to absorb at least four Stand's. If I'm right you should be able to take their abilities, since the Stand is connected to the user's life force, and you can absorb that shit." To Nico that sounded less like a challenge and more like advice for how to add more shit to his growing power roster.

"Once you complete that challenge I'll fully unlock your Necrofriggian DNA for you." After she said that a portal opened on the floor in front of the TV.

"Shit, we're running out of time! Okay, real quick, try and get along with the group of four on the camel's. I'll give you an allowance of a couple thousand in whatever currency you need, and make sure to introduce yourself as Nicholas Kieran. Both because it's our family name, and it could help one of our siblings in the future if you do! Oh! And I've made it so you can see and interact with Stand's!" Eve quickly said to him before she picked him up, and threw him into the portal with the challenge card and bag in hand, before he could even fully process what she said.

As Nico fell through the portal he couldn't help but feel shocked, after all his older sister just threw him into a portal that led to who knows where. Though, as the portal closed behind him and he saw the blue sky, felt the heat of the sun, and looked down to see he was falling towards the sands of a desert, he realized he was already thrown into the thick of it.

"Oh! Shit!" He yelled out as he quickly brought out the wings of the mutant parrot to give him some lift so he wouldn't make a crash landing.

"Dammit Eve! You couldn't have put me in a city or something!? Why'd it have to be the desert!!" This was the type of environment that Nico felt the most uncomfortable in as the heat would be even harsher on him, and he didn't care for the sand that was coarse, rough, and got everywhere.

"Fuck! I'm miles away from any signs of civilization, and I don't see anyone, so how am I supposed to find of group of four on camel's?!?" Nico yelled out in frustration as he landed on the desert floor, he really didn't like his current environment.

"Screw it, if I'm going to be in the desert I'm making winter come early, and if any Stand user's see me, I'll just say it's related to my Stand!" He might as well pretend to be a Stand user himself while he's here, it might help him done the line.

The Osmosian put the challenge card that was sent with him in his messenger bag, and then proceeded to start lowering the temperature around him. Since its very unlikely to have the conditions to have it snow in the desert, he would have to make the conditions himself by lowering the temperature, and shoot pieces of ice into any cloud he sees while he walked aimlessly throught the desert.

That day in the Arabian Desert the rare sight of snow on a spring day occured, baffling all those that saw it. Some locals said it was a sign of a new beginning in the world, other's said it was a sign of death and destruction. But to all, it meant that there would be a great change coming, and that this was the first sign of it.
