Chapter 1
Jing Li, the past and strongest general of the Xianzhou Loufu was having a strange predicament. "Yunyun, do I like chocolate better or strawberry?" His said temporary secretary, Tingyun, was currently also the amicassador of the Sky-faring commission, a stunning foxian with a bushy tail. "Benefactor, how could I possibly know you better than yourself?" Jing Li continued to think before asking "Do you potentially remember what flavour I've had more?" Tingyun thought for a bit before replying with "Strawberry, you've had strawberry more."
Jing Li stared at the stall owner before asking for the strawberry flavour as he paid a few strales for his ice cream. Tingyun could only secretly deny reality as she looked at the white haired general. One would think that he was a handsome man with his golden stunning eyes and physique yet, the strongest general in history and the one closest to the Reignbow Arbiter in power and relationship was... This... lazy bum, constantly lounging around, good for nothing general that-
"ACHOO!" Jing Li wiped his nose before biting the ice cream piece by piece instead of licking it. He was also strange, Tingyun however only continued to serve as his part time temporary secretary as he had saved her from a horde of mara struck.
Jing Li on the other hand stared at this floating screen in front of him.

Currently there were a few people chatting around but he decided it was time to make a move.
[Lightning General: Greetings, I don't suppose someone could fill me in on what this chat group is?]

[Worst Spirit: It seems that a general has joined us this time. How fortunate for you, seems like you've had a lot on your plate.]
[Lightning General: I'm wondering where I should go. There's plenty of options to pick from.]
[Lightning General has decided to visit: Hero of Justice]
[Hero of Justice: Wait you were serious about that?! I said that as a sarcastic joke, not actually telling you to help me out on a job.]
[Lightning General: It can not be worse than my 300 year tenure as the general of paperwork.]
Jing Li finished off his ice cream before staring at Tingyun, "Yunyun, I'm going on vacation, tell the Ten Lords that I'm going to disappear for a bit. Leave the paperwork to Jing Yuan, my disciple has gone and had her own disciple only to fall to Mara. When will they ever learn, the key to avoiding mara is to be peaceful and calm no matter the situation."
Tingyun stared at her boss before replying "Benefactor, I think most of the situations in which you'd be calm and collected would have many people conflicted or screaming and running. Such as the incident with Miss Jingliu." The air crackled with the subtle static electricity despite Jing Li being completely down to earth.
"I think I will be on my way, remember to stay safe Yunyun."
A gentle light enveloped Jing Li as he opened his eyes to see a stern grey haired and tanned man looking at him. "I assume you are the Hero of Justice?" The man cringed and nodded "Just call me Archer." At that moment, the user switched to Archer in the group chat. It seems a proper introduction is necessary.
"I am, Jing Li. The Lightning General."
Archer nodded before asking "So while I was phrasing it as a joke about the help. I think I might need the help at this point. The grail has gone off its rockers and there's currently a shadow that's sweeping the city. It's incredibly dangerous."
Jing Li nodded before speaking to Archer about how to introduce him to his current master in order to help with the situation.
Which led to this.
Rin Tohsaka was having a huge headache. Her servant was a counter guardian, and due to the dangers of this war and him not being enough firepower, he called for back up from an existence outside of the domain in the form of a general also dubbed the Lightning General.
"So we need to destroy the grail essentially? And because of the shadow, the general is here for back up and to make things easier?" Archer nodded as Rin rubbed her eyebrows. "You DOLT! You didn't think to tell me before? I should have used a command seal before this." Archer sighed before looking to Rin.
"Rin, we need to get to the bottom of this matter before It's too late."
Rin nodded before staring at the chill smug face of Jing Li. "Archer, are you sure this guy is a famous and powerful general where he's from?" Archer nodded with confidence which he never had, all he had to go off was the danger signals from the general. No mana and that blade on his waist was... divine. He couldn't read it at all.
Rin looked towards the general, "So General, what do you suggest we do?" Jing Li yawned before pointing to Archer. "Use him as bait, take out all of the enemies at once in one go." Rin stared at him as if he grew a second head. "Are you crazy?" Jing Li shook his head "Crazy? It's only crazy if it has a small chance of success. We have a near 100% chance of succeeding. Assuming you can block off the damage from getting to the city. Jing Li looked towards Archer.
"I swear you know too much about someone you just met. I assume it's clairvoyance of some sort?" Jing Li nodded "Similar." Archer sighed before announcing "We can take the damage using my reality marble." Rin's head spun faster than previously and a snap sound could almost be heard.
"You should go a bit more slowly young lady. Be more like Yunyun, she's learnt that nothing good comes out of rushing. Patience breeds success, however the length of my patience is quite short."
Rin glared at Archer before sighing. "Let's just get this done with."
A flare of mana from Archer boosted with a command seal was enough to alert all remaining corrupted heroes and the shadow to the abandoned park with Archer as a shining beacon.
"I am the bone of my sword."
"Steel is my body and fire is my blood."
"I have created over a thousand blades"
"As I pray."
The servants gathered around as Rin tried her best to cloak the mana that was gathering from Archer. The corrupted servants acted like moths to a flame. The woman knight seemed to be especially strong and sharp in swordplay.
"Unlimited Blade Works!"
Rin stared already knowing the desolate landscape she saw. The same on in her dreams, the reward for all of Archer's hard work.
However she had no time as Archer was completely strained from spending the mana to attract the shadow and corrupted heroes along with maintaining the reality marble.
"General, show me why you are called the lightning general!" Rin shouted as Jing Li smiled gently.
"Heaven and Earth is but a chessboard, Rin. No need for panic, panic only increases chance of failure."
"It's time for the masterstroke. Let the heaven and earth be torn asunder!"
The skies of Unlimited Blade Works normally desolate and full of smog heard the crackling of thunder and streaks of lightning fell, repelling the corrupted heroes and the shadow's tentacles away from Archer. All Archer could do was record via the chat group and say, "You've got to be shitting me."
A large figure, descended from the lightning strikes, quite similar to the Lightning-Wielding, Thunder-clapping, Spirit Squashing Lord that Jing Yuan currently commanded. This was a Lightning Lord created from his own experience and essence with the help of Lan.
His very own Lightning Lord.
The corrupted heroes could only look upon the floating figure of Jing Li and the Lightning Lord behind him wielding a gleaming radiant sword.
"Heed my words, tear heaven and earth apart and sever the domain!"
"Show no mercy!"
Jing Li swung his sword down as the Lightning Lord mirrored his actions however what was strange was the impending doom of the heroes. Many held enough agility to escape and yet, they could not move. Of was it better to describe it as the loss of ability to move during the single strike. A strike that stepped into an entirely different realm leaving a sure hit attack.
Archer could only groan and struggle to maintain the reality marble as the Lightning Lord's sword came crashing down along with crackles of lightning striking down from the smoggy skies of Unlimited Blade Works.
Jing Li floated down as the reality marble faded away leaving a tired Archer and a stunned Rin. "Lightning General... I take my words back." Rin realised that she had been making fun of a power house the entire time while Archer realised that if the general wanted to, he could probably cut an entire world in half. Jing Li simply stared at his sword before sheathing it once again.
"It seems this was a positive experience. I've got to shake off the rust once in a while and keep my skills from rusting."
Archer could only imagine what a fully powered and warmed up general could do.
