"You've got a guilty conscience?" Hermione glanced at Andy in surprise, she had thought Andy would continue to carry on arguing with her.
Andy blinked, "It's not like I'm a bad person."
Hermione blankly glanced at Andy without any good humour, "You're wilfully bad."
In fact, if she thinks about it, Andy didn't do anything wrong, it's not like Andy started this fight. Later on, both sides fought with real passion, which was also something that everyone had never expected.
Moreover, both sides were very restrained in the use of magic, what really caused serious injuries was actually the stampede in the chaos.
"I didn't realise the conflict between Gryffindor and Slytherin would be this serious," Hermione said with a frown.
She was in Ravenclaw and didn't feel very strongly about it.
If it wasn't for this fight, Hermione would have thought that the conflict between the two houses would only be in the form of a bickering match.
"It's class conflict."
Andy explained, "Purebloods and ordinary wizards ... are like nobles and commoners in Muggle society. A lot of people in the wizarding world are obsessed with purebloods, and the idea has been around for a long time."
"The only reason Voldemort was able to start the war was by exploiting the concept of purebloods."
Hermione's expression was complicated, the backward ethos of the wizarding world was somewhat beyond her expectations.
The Muggle world had completed its transformation a hundred years ago.
"Pureblood wizards ..."
Hermione asked suspiciously, "Andy, is there any difference between a pureblood wizard and an ordinary wizard ...?"
Hermione had only entered the magic world for a little over a year, and she didn't know much about purebloods yet. But since it's a pureblood then ... there has to be something special about them, right?
Like, for example, a special bloodline magic?
"There might have been before!"
Andy spread his hands and said, "But now, well ... they are no different from ordinary wizards."
You thought there would be a Bloodline Limit (Kekkei genkai)?
Are you joking?
"Actually, judging from the situation in recent decades, the decline of the pureblood families has become inevitable."
Andy continued, "But it is precisely because they are not willing to decline that they have caused so many troubles."
"Is that so?" Hermione mumbled something.
Andy shrugged and didn't continue the topic.
In fact, according to Andy's opinion, today's magic world, not to mention the pureblood families, even the entire magic world was about to run out of time.
Once the muggle society entered the information age, if the magic world still wanted to continue to hide, it would have to shrink the living space of the entire community.
Retreat from the cities to the countryside.
Or perhaps develop some special magic to cope with the muggle society, whose technology is developing at a high speed.
For example: magic to shield cameras.
Once the magic community was exposed, wizards and muggles could never coexist, and ordinary people would never tolerate the fact that there was a group of wizards hidden in the world who could play with their minds and memories.
It was good that the situation was not that serious now.
Although Andy hadn't read the ending of Harry Potter, he had heard that Harry ended up having a child and that his child went to Hogwarts.
From this, it could be seen that the magic world would be able to hold on for at least a few more decades.
That's why Andy didn't have the idea of changing the wizarding world, either.
It was true that Andy was a wizard, but Andy didn't want to disrupt the order of the muggle society.
It was difficult for him to take a stance on this issue.
That is why breaking through the limits of wizards and pursuing the supreme power of magic became the only path available to Andy.
As long as he possessed great power, no matter what this world became, Andy could protect himself and his family.
As for the other wizards in the magic world ... why is that any of my concern?
While Andy was pondering, he suddenly heard Hermione whisper, "It's time for the wizarding world to go through a change!"
Andy: "!!!?"
"Hermione, what are you planning to do?" Andy asked warily.
Hermione looked at Andy and said in a serious tone, "Andy, don't you think that the current magic world is too backward and closed?"
Andy sucked in a cold breath.
My future partner is going to be a Dark Lord?
"I want to be the Minister of Magic and then change this backward magic world."
Hermione looked at Andy, "Andy, what do you think?"
"Very, very well!" Andy sighed in relief.
What a normal thinking you have.
Thinking about Voldemort ... Andy really thought he had a blister in his brain.
It was obvious that he could become the Minister of Magic through the normal way, but he chose to rebel.
"Andy, you'll support me, won't you?" Hermione asked expectantly.
"Of course!"
Andy laughed, "If you become the Minister of Magic, you can get me out of Azkaban."
"But ... that's hard to achieve, isn't it?" Hermione muttered a little helplessly.
She was from the muggle world, so there was no way that the rich pureblood families would ever support her.
Andy glanced in the direction of Slytherin, "Maybe it's easy."
Turning back to Hermione, Andy leaned in close and whispered, "Voldemort is trying to come back to life, and once he does ... it's the end of the purebloods."
They could be dealt with once they took part in the war.
As they were chatting, Dumbledore suddenly walked into the great hall with a group of professors.
The noise in the great hall died down at once.
After the professors walked to the professor's stand and took their seats in turn, Dumbledore walked to the podium, gazed around the room, and slowly opened his mouth:
"I'm sorry that such a terrible incident has occurred at Hogwarts during my tenure as Headmaster."
"Two houses, more than thirty students, argued over the use of the Quidditch pitch, which in turn led to a mass fight."
"As the Headmaster of Hogwarts, I have an unshirkable responsibility ..."
"..."
Dumbledore quickly chalked up this matter.
The main reason that triggered the group fight was because of the dispute over the use of the pitch, not the conflict between the two houses, and even less because of the verbal insults during the quarrel.
He blamed himself and promised that the school would introduce a system for the use of the Quidditch pitch as soon as possible, and then deducted 200 points from each of the two houses as a punishment.
As for the main individuals who started the mass brawl, they would face detention until the Christmas break.
The young wizards of Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff would have practically cheered on the spot if the timing hadn't been so inappropriate.
The competition for this school year's House Cup ... Gryffindor and Slytherin were out for good.
Next, it was the battle between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff!
As hard-working little badgers, they could not be afraid of Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff had always believed that hard work could make a difference.
"That's all I have to say."
Dumbledore looked at the group of young wizards, "Hogwarts is a place of learning, we live here, and it's normal for students to have conflicts with each other. But there are many ways to resolve conflicts, and resolving them by force is never the best way."
"I hope that next time if something like this happens again, you can restrain your impulses, and if you can't solve it by yourselves, then find a professor to deal with it ..."
Hearing this, Andy couldn't help but hurl a question at Hermione, "Get Professor Lockhart to handle it?"
