I didn't bring a cellphone, so I wrote a letter instead and left it in my room, knowing Zairon would come home today.
I visited Grandma for a bit before heading straight to Zairon's house in Pampanga. When Serina noticed me, she immediately called my kids.
I was surprised that they didn't cry or show any reaction that they missed me. I suddenly felt sad. It's been over a week since I last saw them, but it seemed like nothing to them.
"Didn't you miss me?" I frowned.
When the twins laughed and hugged me, I felt their warmth and joy. I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow in disbelief at their reaction.
"We missed you, Mommy, but Daddy told us you're fine with him. He said you're making a baby sister for us who looks like you."
My jaw dropped, but I quickly recovered and forced a smile. "Ah, we didn't make one yet. Maybe next time."
"Why not, Mommy?" Cole asked, pouting.
