"Very well thank you" the doctor said to the nurse who came to inform them. Turning his gaze to Peter, he smiled slightly; "The child services agents are here to take you home, so you have nothing to worry about. I'd only ask that you stay calm"

As Peter watched the doctor leave the room, he could only sigh in relief. He began to think of a tangible story to give concerning his current situation.

Peter knew that the child protective service agents might have a few questions for him and he just couldn't afford to stay silent and say nothing. He was far away from home, so the faster he cooperates, the faster he gets to see his mom again.
