Chapter 25
Ra stared at me and I stared back. My mind was at a stand still. I mean I just found out my grandfather is Ra, the Egyptian god of creation and the sun. How am I supposed to react to that.
Ra seemed to understand that I was just blank minded and he created a table with some chairs, he then took a seat. He motioned for me to take a seat too, which I happily accepted.
The table was a circular and had a design that showed the sun on it. The seats were patted with cushions and felt very comfortable when I sat down.
Ra, Grandpa, began to speak. "So how have you been?" Ra sounded confident but I could tell he was nervous. So I decided to speak, trying to make sure that Ra will talk.
"Been doing- honestly kind of trash like now." I saw Ra eyes widen slightly as his owl head slightly turned.
"Why's that? What happened?" Ra spoke in a concerned voice that you could expect from a worried grandpa when he found out you snuck into the woods.
"eh, friends dying, almost dying. I died, you know the norm." I saw Ra sadly nod, like he knew that was the norm for demigods. Speaking of which.
"Hey Ra, can you tell me who my mother?" I Ra eyes water slightly as he sighed.
"Your mother was my pride and joy back in the day. We Egyptian gods normally aren't allow to have children, but this was before the law even made it through our thoughts. She had strength that wasn't heard of until Heracles came along. She had fire that burned even gods. She was my daughter....
When she became 16, Tawaret became her patron. She did small quests for her until she became 20. She then embarked on a quest to Greece. It was in ancient times where titans rule, " I stopped Ra there.
"Wait hold up, how long ago was this???"
"3000 years ago." Ra responded normally, like it wasn't a problem.
"Uhhh how old am I?" I asked since I remembered what happened to Bianca.
"About 3014 years old." Ra nodded slowly as my brain melted.
"Continue before I go brain dead while processing this."
Ra laughed when I said that and smile while continuing speaking. "As I was saying, it was in ancient times where titans rule. Your mother was tasked to explore and make sure that Kronos wouldn't try to make advances to Egypt.
In one of her battles, she fell into the underworld. There she gained a power that only one other person had. The curse of Achilles. She gained invincibly but at the cost of her mortal spot behind her ear.
From there she fought through monsters and titans. She managed to gain the respect of Typhon, who then asked her hand in having a child with him. Aya accepted the offer but Kronos hated that.
So after their "deed" Kronos used his magic to make Typhon a mindless beast and sent Aya flying to the edge of the world, better known as Antarctica.
She would die, she knew that and we knew that. But she asked us, Tawaret and I to keep you safe and send you where you would be safe. "
I began to tear up because it turns out I was never abandoned. I had family that loved me. I smiled as Ra added something that caught on to my attention.
"I know it is selfish but I know your goals." He began and I was about to argue why my goals were right when Ra smiled. "Your goal is the same as mine. Kill Luke, kill Kronos. I know you are in love with strength, so want me to tell you what you gain from being my blood?"
I took a second to think, not because I didn't want it but because I now know I have more powers.
I nodded and Ra spoke once more.
"Let's start with Tawaret. She has given you her blessing. Which means when you have kids, they will inherit 80% of your powers. Then when they have kids, they will have 60%. Etc. It pretty much keeps power in family for longer.
Now on to my powers that you gain. Fire immunity, fire absorption, solar heal which heals you while being in the sun and potentially heals others, You can heal in the sunlight which combines with your natural heighten regenerative from being Typhon's child. You can heal any poison that is caused by monsters with you blood. That is from both Typhon and slightly me. Your armor like skin comes from Achilles' curse from your mother. That was only possible due to her patron being Tawaret.
And lastly, you flames can burn hotter than you mothers. You can burn through time, steel, and you flames can hurt even gods. Once you reach your peak, you will really be a monster in human skin, Atem.
That is all I can say for now since someone is calling you." Ra points at the roof of this hell, a hole appears. I quickly fly towards it.
Ra's pov
I finally met my grandson. I am happy that he will become strong.
I know Set will return. And when that time comes I will ask him to help. But for now Grandson, live for Aya.

Bianca's pov
I knew that one of us would die at this mountain. But I don't want anyone to die.
I dodge a swing of a spear, more specify, Atlas' spear. We finally made it to the mountain. Atem gave his life to save me. I don't know why. I was cold to him ever since we met. I admit that he was growing on me but Zoe seemed to be in love with him so I did stopped my feelings. And I did what any good friend would do.
Try to be a wing girl but fail because he ends up saving me.
I remember holding Zoe while she cried the night that Atem died. I could feel it though, he was alive. He just felt out of reach.
But I can't stand here doing noting.
Harding myself I charged forwards and sliced at Atlas.
"Arugh" Atlas shouted as he swiped at me, and nailed me.
I crashed into a wall and cried out in pain as Zoe and Artemis laid fire to Atlas. He was holding himself well.
He landed a lucky hit on Artemis, piercing her through her side.
"NO!" I shout and rush forward.
But Atlas parried my every attack then launched a kick that I barley managed to block.
'Atlas is too strong. We can't beat him... Atem....'
'Father if you can hear me, whoever you are. Please help me.'
I felt dizzy, like I was swung around a bunch. I fell to one knee and I look on as a huge hole opens up, it feels like dread itself was in it. Atlas looked shocked and before I knew it,
"SLICE!" A spear was placed through my body. I turn to see Zoe suffered too. She was slammed into a wall next to me and judging from her face, she knew that this would happen.
I saw Percy looking on in horror as he held up the world. I saw Annabeth struggling to stand. I saw Thaila look on in shock.
A bone chilling laugher comes out of the hole.
"RAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!!!!" It sent a shiver down my spine.
"FOOSH!" The sound of the sound barrier breaking creates a shockwave as one figure exits the hole. Covered in scars and shirtless, his bronze skin was darker, like rusted bronze. Atem...
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" He shouts with rage as he takes in the surrounding. He flew stright towards Atlas who parries his fist but got a nice cut across his face because of Atem's tail swiping at his face.
Atlas stabs his spear out at Atem who blocks the strike with his hand, some blood leaking out of his hand but besides that he was ok.
He then raised his right hand and swiped it, a wave of flames gave birth and covered Atlas.
"AHHHH" He shouts as he comes out of the fire burned, his bald head getting the worst of it. A giant burn mark covers his whole head.
Atem followed up with a barrage of punches that made miniature shock waves, somewhere between punches he activated his claws that tore through Atlas.
Atlas punched Atem back. But Atem blocked it with his arm.
"CRACK!" A crack sounded from Atem's arm. He waved it and snarled like a beast.
Atem lunged at Atlas and clapped his hands togeather, creating a storm of violent winds and fire.
Atem landed on the ground and began to breathe heavily and he also bled across his body. He was a monster in battle, but he was still human.
I watch as Atlas got up and charged at Atem who dodged his attacks. Suddenly Artemis came from behind Atlas and stabbed him in the back.
This was followed up by Atem releasing blue flames that covered Atlas, and judging from his screams, it was hurting quite a lot.
Atlas, covered in flames, charged at Artemis and began to fight both Atem and her.
"GAEA! " Atlas shouts and the mountain begins to crumble. My eyes begin to slowly close but I forced them open.
"ARTEMIS GET THEM OUT OF HERE, I'LL GET BIANCA AND ZOE!" Atem shouts as Artemis hesitates then nods. He rushes towards me and Zoe and picks us up.
"Do not die here. OK?" He says and we weakly nod. Percy gets off from the "holding the world" and I thought that it was over, but the sky didn't crash into the earth.
No... Atem was holding it with winds.
"ARUG!" He struggles. That was the curse, the curse of lifting the entire sky.
It was meant to be a punishment for the titan of strength but Atem is doing it purely with his powers. He flaps his wings and we go off the mountain in the sky. I saw rocks falling from the mountain as it slowly collapses.
"AHHH!" Atem shouts as the rocks, dirt, trees, everything stops in the air. He held the mountain of despair by himself.
The rocks slowly start going back into place. The sky goes back into the sky. Everything reverses, he did it by himself.
'Bianca, if you wish to save Zoe, I will allow it. You will be cherished in the underworld, for a hero. You will be praised as a hero all around. Goodbye my daughter.'
Yes, I can save her. I can be a hero...
"A-atem, take care of Nico for me please. For I was never fit to be his sister. I'm sorry."
