Chapitre 5: Battle in Underworld

As the Frontier soldiers and warriors assembled in formation, a palpable tension hung in the air, the weight of their impending battle pressing down upon them like a suffocating blanket of dread. With each step they took, the ground trembled beneath their feet, echoing the thunderous beat of their collective heartbeats.

Five thousand soldiers stood at the ready, their guns loaded and ready, while two hundred warriors, their faces set in grim determination, prepared to lead the charge into the heart of battle with their swords and magic.

Above them, twenty-five flying battleships loomed ominously in the sky, their engines thrumming with the promise of swift and deadly retribution against their enemies.

Alexander stood at the forefront of the assembled ranks, his gaze fixed ahead with steely determination. Beside him, Ty stood tall, her sword gleaming in the dim light of dawn, her eyes alight with a fierce resolve that matched his own.

Dr. Jin stepped forward, his portal gun held aloft like a beacon of hope amidst the chaos of war. With a resolute determination, he activated the device, its ethereal glow casting an otherworldly aura over the battlefield.

A rippling tear in the dimension appeared before them, swirling with an ominous energy that sent shivers down their spines. Beyond its threshold lay the underworld, a realm of Demons and despair where the fate of their allies hung in the balance.

With a nod from Alexander, the Frontier soldiers surged forward, their footsteps resounding like a thunderous war drum as they charged headlong into the unknown. The warriors followed suit, their battle cries mingling with the roar of the wind as they soared into the sky aboard the flying battleships.

As they crossed the threshold of the portal, a sense of foreboding washed over them, a grim reminder of the dangers that awaited on the other side. But amidst the chaos and uncertainty, they pressed on, driven by a sense of duty and a shared determination to stand against the darkness that threatened to consume them all.

And as the last of the Frontier forces disappeared into the swirling abyss, the battlefield erupted into chaos, the clash of steel and the roar of cannon fire echoing across the land. It was a moment of epic proportions, a turning point in the relentless struggle for survival in the crucible of war.

The battlefield became a tableau of chaos and carnage as the shadow horde forces clashed violently with the Frontier soldiers and warriors. Orcs wielding giant swords, axes, guns, and missiles fought savagely against their enemies in an attempt to overwhelm them.

Demons soared through the sky while The Frontier fought valiantly on foot against overwhelming odds. The air was thick with smoke and blood as warriors on both sides clashed violently - limbs were ripped off, heads chopped up, bodies torn apart by powerful spells unleashed upon one another in a desperate attempt to gain an advantage in this brutal conflict.

Ty, her face etched with determination and rage, ripped off limbs and chopped up heads of the shadow horde forces. Her movements were swift and precise as she fought with a ferocity that belied her small stature.

Alexander, his dual pistols blazing, shot down orcs left and right while using martial arts to take out those who managed to get close enough for hand-to-hand combat. He snapped necks with ease as he moved through the chaos like a whirlwind of death itself.

As the battle raged on, fallen battleships from both sides crashed into each other, exploding in a cataclysmic display of fire and destruction. The resulting shockwaves sent soldiers and demons flying through the air like ragdolls, their bodies torn apart by debris and shrapnel.

The ground beneath them shook with each impact as powerful spells were unleashed upon one another in a desperate attempt to gain an advantage in this brutal conflict. Amidst the chaos, Frontier soldiers fought side by side with demons against their common enemy - orcs and other shadow horde forces.

The battle lasted for hours, with both sides suffering heavy losses. Eventually, the shadow horde forces were pushed back and defeated. As the dust settled and survivors tended to their wounded, Frontier soldiers and demons alike met up with Demon King Hades who wished to discuss something privately with Alexander & Ty.

The three of them retired to a secluded area where they could speak in hushed tones about the matters at hand - unaware that their conversation would have far-reaching consequences for all involved in this ongoing struggle.

Demon King Hades greeted Alexander and Ty with a regal nod as they entered the private chamber. Beside him stood his wife, a figure of ethereal beauty and quiet strength.

"I am Hades, ruler of the underworld," he announced, his voice commanding yet tinged with a hint of warmth. "And this is my wife, Persephone."

Persephone offered a graceful nod, her eyes betraying a depth of wisdom and compassion that belied her otherworldly origins.

"It is an honor to meet you both," Alexander said, his voice respectful as he acknowledged the presence of royalty.

Ty echoed his sentiment with a nod of her own, her gaze steady as she took in the imposing figure of the Demon King and his enigmatic wife.

Hades revealed that the Shadow Horde had a plan to take the Nether Core - an item that kept the existence of their underworld intact. He explained that every world had its own core, and once destroyed, it would cease to exist.

This revelation sent shockwaves through Alexander and Ty as they realized just how dire their situation truly was. The fate of not only two worlds but potentially many more hung in the balance...

Demon King Hades's voice was grim as he continued, "The Orcs, thousands strong, march towards the strongholds. Soon, the underworld will be razed to a blazing ruin."

Persephone, her expression filled with a quiet, desperate determination, added, "I only wish to protect the Nether core."

Hades's gaze was piercing as he asked, "Defeat is certain... What do you intend?"

Persephone's eyes met his, filled with both sorrow and resolve. "This war is not ours to win. Hope lies not in the ashes of the underworld but in Eve, our last hope. We only bide for time."

Demon King Hades's voice resonated with a mixture of frustration and anger. "Eve has been missing for seven years. She has either abandoned everything or is dead!"

The room fell silent, the weight of his words amplifying the despair that had already begun to settle over them. Alexander and Ty exchanged a glance, the enormity of their situation starkly evident. Despite the dire circumstances, they have no choice but to fight.

Demon King Hades's voice was heavy with resignation as he spoke. "My queen, one does not simply struggle against fate. We will falter no matter what..."

Persephone's eyes blazed with defiance. "I dare challenge this fate! We are what stands against this mighty oppressor!" She turned to Alexander and Ty, her determination unwavering. "If we are to meet our demise, then we shall do so as one! Together we will fight valiantly to the last demon!"

Persephone's eyes softened as she turned to Ty and Alexander. "You two must return to your world and wait for me there," she said, her voice steady and resolute. "I will bring the Nether core."

Alexander and Ty exchanged a glance, their expressions a mix of concern and determination.

"Are you sure?" Alexander asked, his voice tinged with worry.

Persephone nodded, her resolve unshaken. "Yes, I am sure. Go now, and be ready. Our hope lies in you."

With a final, determined nod, Ty and Alexander made their way to the portal, their hearts heavy with the gravity of their mission. They knew the battle was far from over, but they were ready to face whatever came next.

Demon King Hades steeled himself as he faced the mysterious and overwhelmingly powerful enemy who had emerged from the portal. The figure's dark energy crackled menacingly around him, casting eerie shadows across the battlefield. Hades's eyes narrowed as he studied the enemy's movements, trying to discern any weaknesses.

As he observed the enemy more closely, a flicker of recognition passed over Hades's face. There was something hauntingly familiar about this figure, something from a long-forgotten past. But before he could piece together the fragmented memories, the enemy moved with blinding speed, vanishing from sight and reappearing directly in front of him.

The attack came with a force that was almost unfathomable. The enemy's fist, crackling with dark energy, struck Hades with a bone-jarring impact, sending him reeling backwards. Pain exploded through Hades's body, but he managed to recover quickly, his eyes now filled with both recognition and shock.

"Is it really you?" Hades managed to gasp, his voice a mix of disbelief and anger.

The enemy did not respond with words, but with another furious attack. Lightning-fast strikes and dark energy assaults rained down on Hades, who summoned all his strength and skill to parry and counter. Each clash of power shook the ground, sending shockwaves through the battlefield and scattering the lesser combatants.

Hades's mind raced even as he fought, the recognition growing clearer. The power, the fighting style—everything pointed to a figure he had thought long lost or perhaps even dead. But there was no time to ponder. The enemy was relentless, pushing Hades to his limits.

"Why?" Hades roared, deflecting another powerful blow. "Why are you doing this?"

But the enemy remained silent, their eyes glowing with a malevolent intensity. The battle raged on, a titanic struggle between two beings of immense power, each strike carrying the weight of their intertwined fates.

Demon King Hades's voice thundered across the battlefield, cutting through the chaos with a mixture of astonishment and anger.

"Lucian DragonHeart!" he bellowed, the name reverberating through the air like a thunderclap. "I remember now. I've seen pictures of you in the history books."

As the two clashed in a fierce exchange of blows, Hades's mind raced with questions. How was Lucian still alive after all this time? What had driven him to return now, in the midst of such chaos and destruction?

"How are you still alive?" Hades demanded, his voice filled with a mixture of disbelief and frustration. The answer, he knew, could hold the key to unraveling the mystery of Lucian's return.

Lucian teleported behind Hades and whispered, "I don't know you." He then jabbed his hand into the Demon King's chest and ripped out his heart, crushing it in his hand.

Hades fell to the ground, gasping for breath as blood poured from the wound in his chest. The shockwaves of this attack reverberated through those present - both allies and enemies alike knew that they were witnessing something truly momentous.

Lucian began slaughtering many demons and Frontier forces with his dragon claws. He moved through the chaos like a whirlwind of death itself, leaving nothing but carnage in his wake.

Those who stood against him were quickly cut down as he tore through their ranks with ease - his power seemingly unmatched by any force present on this battlefield. The air was thick with smoke and blood as warriors on both sides clashed violently...

As the battle rage on, the Nether core is now safely secured in the chest, Persephone found herself surrounded by a relentless tide of Orcs, their savage cries echoing through the air as they charged at her with murderous intent. With a fierce determination, Persephone fought back, her movements fluid and precise as she unleashed the full extent of her powers upon her foes.

One by one, the Orcs fell before her, their bodies littering the ground as she cut through their ranks with unmatched skill and ferocity. But even as she fought, more Orcs continued to pour forth from the portal, their numbers seemingly endless.

Realizing that she was quickly being overwhelmed, Persephone made a split-second decision. With a swift motion, she hurled the chest containing the Nether core into the portal, its ethereal energies swirling around it as it vanished from sight. Without hesitation, Persephone followed suit, leaping into the portal just as the Orcs closed in around her.

As she disappeared into the swirling vortex of energy, Persephone's heart raced with a mix of fear and tiredness.
