''Your majesty?'' Nolan called out to the emperor for the second time, only for him to receive no response again.

'Is something bothering him?' He wondered, noting how distracted the emperor had been since he entered the emperor's office. 

The emperor was a man of few words, but that did not mean that he was one to be distracted easily.

''Your majesty.'' Nolan called out in a louder tone and this time, and he was able to get the emperor's attention.

''...What is it, Nolan?'' The golden eyes slowly shifted to him.

''The report, your majesty.''

'''...right.'' The emperor released a small frustrated sigh, realizing that he was not listening to the investigating reports from his aide.

'I guess her words are troubling…No, her entire existence is the cause…' His thoughts shifted to a certain red-haired empress.
