''Blessings to the imperial family, greetings your majesty, the emperor.'' In response to the emperor suddenly barging into the drawing room, Basil calmly stood and offered the latter a bow with a smile on his lips.

''What are you doing with my empress, Basil?'' The emperor ignored the greetings and aggressively pushed for answers. The smile on Basil's face was also not helping the situation.

''Whatever does your majesty think is going on between her majesty and I?'' Feeling quite amused by the emperor's reaction, Basil responded with a question of his own.

Watching the snake-liked basil having his way with the emperor hatefully glaring at him, Rose knew that this couldn't continue unless a fight might end up between the two of them.

'They look alike though…' Rose remarked inwardly, noticing the similarities between the emperor and basil. Both had tall and large builds, brown skin, and golden eyes. Their faces also bear some resemblance.
