"Yes, Dad is preparing to make roasted durian for Mom. Do you want some?" Welly spoke in a hushed tone, holding his breath.
Little Fengning looked at the large durian on the ground and blinked, "I want some too. Dad, roast a portion for me as well."
"You can have some if you do your homework well," Welly replied.
Sally also said, "Go on, it'll be ready soon."
Little Fenging thought for a moment, "I remember Dad saying that roasting durian is a complicated process that takes two and a half hours."
Sally froze, "Is it, is it really?"
Then she looked back at Welly's face.
Welly's forehead twitched slightly, "Yes."
Little Fengning went back inside to continue with his homework.
Sally glanced at the blood in the cracks of the durian, "Your son said two and a half hours."
"Mhm." Welly didn't even frown.
"Actually, I came here this time to talk to you about something," Sally said as she took a chair and sat down next to him.
Welly said, "Go ahead."
