Chapitre 256: Talk about the tournament

As we walked back to the dorm, hand in hand, the conversation naturally drifted toward the upcoming inter-university magic tournament.

It was the kind of event that always brought out the competitive streak in both of us, and the thought of facing off against new opponents from other universities had both of our adrenaline pumping.

"You know," I started, glancing at Lise with a grin, "I've been thinking about the tournament a lot. It's going to be amazing to face off against people we've never fought before. I mean, the competition here is great, but there's something thrilling about not knowing your opponent's moves."

Lise nodded, her eyes lighting up at the prospect. "Yeah, new opponents mean new challenges. I've heard some of the other universities have developed unique magic techniques. I can't wait to see how they fight and how we can beat them."

There was that glint in her eyes, the one that always sparked when she was thinking about battle.
