Chapitre 15: Chapter 15 - Stealthy
The monsters charged toward the cave, imagining that Jason would reveal himself with his Mana Arrows sooner or later, but that didn't happen. They slowed down a bit, and before long, amidst the darkness, they heard the sound of someone grunting and then the sound of a body falling on the ground…
Eventually, they found a body, and after checking the body, they confirmed that one of them had been killed after their throats had been sliced. Some of them were hit by an attack of that same type, but Jason always used his bow.
The enemies began to move after increasing their pace to reach the end of the dungeon as soon as possible or to find Jason. Either came first, and they would be thankful for it. But then they heard several grunts and then the sound of bodies falling on the ground. Some of the monsters thought that they had seen the light of a mana arrow, but it was too small for that to be the case. The corpses slowed them down since that made a lot of the monsters trip.
Despite the weird and unexpected casualties, the enemies kept advancing and increased their pace once again. Until they heard the weird sound of Mana arrows crossing the air, but they never saw it… still, several of them fell on the ground dead after they had been hit in their throats.
The monsters had no idea what was happening. If their enemy had that kind of ability, he shouldn't have hidden it until now. How could he hide the mana arrows? That was impossible… In the end, their numbers began to drop at that moment. Close to thirty of them fell dead on the ground, blocking their advance once more. While they tried to move the bodies to the sides, those who tried were killed completely in silence…
While the enemies had no idea what was happening. Jason was having the time of his life… while grinning, he used Vicious Claw to cut the enemies' throats and used his mana arrows when he was low on stamina. Hiding them in the darkness was easy… he just had to cover them in blood. Doing that was also easy; he just had to pierce the throat of his enemies with the claw and then use the skill. The projectile would pass through them covered in blood and fly directly at the monster's heads or necks.
When he was feeling feisty, Jason kicked the bodies and made them fly for a couple of meters, causing them to fall on the line of enemies behind them. They panicked and began to attack the body, thinking that it was Jason, but soon they confirmed that it wasn't the case… during that time, Jason killed even more of them.
That trick worked particularly well. Jason killed around three hundred monsters in five minutes and reached level thirty-eight.

"What the hell is this description…" Jason furrowed his eyebrows.
For some reason, it took a while, but when it happened, Jason's pace was broken when the weapon was mastered. Regardless… while he was thankful for that, it wouldn't be useful against those monsters. Moreover, Jason could hear some loud grunts coming from behind…, and he was close to the boss's chamber.
"It is time…" Jason thought.
The enemies were about to reach their boss, and Jason couldn't let that happen. He took a deep breath and then charged forward and then he swung his claw in an arc before hitting the throat of two enemies. The creatures didn't suffer enough damage to die, but they would bleed to death… still, they could move enough to attack him before that could happen. However, he changed forward while following the path of bodies that he left behind and did the same thing with the nearest enemies.
Now and then, some monsters would die instantly, and Jason would use that moment to attack even more of the monsters on the sides. Sometimes, the path was crowded with enemies, and then Jason was forced to jump on the shoulders of a target and attack them with his claw… using the extra boost, he moved to the exit of the dungeon.
Jason didn't hesitate, and thanks to that, even though they tried to punch him without seeing him, the enemies failed miserably and never hit him. Before long, Jason reached the back of their formation, and the enemies dashed to the boss's chamber.

"I suppose that this is the right option," Jason said while he watched the enemies running away. "Not for long, though."
