MSG – Volume 2 – Chapter 26: Slept Naked In The Snow
Soon it was seven in the morning and the clock in the living room, which was adjacent to the kitchen/dining room, went off.
As always, it was so loud that even their immediate neighbors could hear it.
This was the signal that breakfast time had come for the family and everyone should report to the dining table within five minutes.
It was a rule that the parents enforced even on themselves and their dog.
"Morning Kidney," Solon greeted the dog as he served it its breakfast and a bowl of water.
"Woof!" their brown-furred dog barked in response to his head pats.
Everyone else in the dining room cringed as they heard him address the dog with that kind of name, but what could they say?
It was their fault for allowing him to name the puppy they rescued from the dumpster just because he cried and said he wanted to.
