The evening sky had darkened into a deep indigo as Liam drove through the winding roads leading to his mansion. The smile on his face from when he left Fiona's house was still clearly there as he couldn't think of anything else apart from the fact that Fiona was now his. Not even the thought of the trouble he was having at work would make it's way into his mind.
However, His thoughts were interrupted by the sudden ring of his phone, and he glanced at it to see the screen illuminating with Derek's name.
Without washing anytime, he took the call. "Hey, Rek. Guess what?" he said excitedly and Derek who had called to say something urgent raised a brow.
"As long as anything you are excited doesn't have to do with you dealing with Marcus, then I suggest you tell me where are you?" Derek's voice crackled through the speaker, sounding urgent and slightly breathless.
