(General P.O.V)
'Tormock huh? Third ranked Chaos Lord. Now I know who I'm killing.'
The thought passed through Angel's mind.
The situation was no longer just about a betrayal. This was an enemy attack. Few people had the balls to come after Angel. Of those few, the Chaos Lords were definitely on the list.
He never expected an unprovoked attack though. Not like this. Allies don't typically attack allies. Angel was now suffering the results of that mentality.
But now, now he FULLY UNDERSTOOD the stakes. Never trust those you CANNOT control. And doubt those who you CAN control.
Due to their current position, Klarion bore witness to Angel's mental shift. Those eyes that had looked upon him favorably, as a friend, now glared at him with the promise of Death.
The Witchboy wished he wasn't locked in place, otherwise he would have portaled just to escape the death glare.
"Don't blame Klarion."
Tormock said to Angel, appearing to Klarion's back while cradling a red colored snake in his hands.
The reptile stretched it's neck out and coiled around the Witchboy, hissing at a frozen Teekl on his shoulder before dissolving into a green liquid that burned his clothes.
'No no no...not the blazer...dammit! Tormock you # $_'
The Witchboy cussed, insulting his colleague in a lost language that would sound gibberish to a mortal.
Just below Klarion's left shoulder, was a number tattooed to his chest. And Angel couldn't help but read it.
"See? He's number 7."
Tormock grinned in amusement, showing blackened fangs.
"That means he does whatever number 6 to numero Uno tells him to do."
Angel didn't gave a shit about Klarion's plight. And if the latter was expecting mercy from him because of that, then he was delusional.
Klarion felt like crying,
'He's glaring at me even harder.
"Anyway, Klarion's not important."
Tormock waved him off, stalking forwards to Angel, a sharp look entering the Chaos Lord's eyes,
"What would you give to become one of us?"
He whispered seductively.
"Your family? Your friends? Maybe both? Your soul? Money has no value but maybe this land teeming with magic? What would you give up for Immortality, Angel Savage?"
Angel found himself capable of speech but only that.
He parted his lips to speak but paused...
"Well?"
The multi-colored snake inside Tormock's eyes hissed, it's ruby eyes staring unblinkingly at Angel.
(Spatial Analysis Complete)
The Halo's on Angel's eyes informed him. In his vision, a display with lines of measurements and positioning appeared across the wall behind Klarion and Tormock.
The lines created a grid where the points were converging...on the multi-colored snake's eyes.
(Illusion Anchor Located)
Angel had thought it was a spell that targeted space itself. But if that were the case, they wouldn't have been able to think or even react at all, because space went hand in hand with Time. Influencing one affected the other.
It was an almost perfect illusion, one caused by the multi-colored snake on Tormock's eye. And if that was the case, Angel could escape it.
"What's wrong? serpent got your tongue?"
The multi-colored snake hissed close to his ears.
"No, I was just waiting to see when you would notice..."
Angel's hand flew out, ripping the multi-colored snake out of the Chaos Lord, stunning Tormock.
"...I escaped your little Illusion trick."
Grabbed by the hair, Tormock's head slammed onto Angel's knee, face breaking in. The Chaos Lord's body unravelled into hundreds of red snakes that spread out across the room, hiding in the Shadows.
" "
The rainbow like snake in his grip hissed, trying to squirm from his hold.
"What? Surprised I can move?"
Angel asked, bringing it close to his face, where the Halo's in his eyes glowed green.
"My eyes can see through lies and deceit. It was only a matter of time till someone tried to hijack my body or mind. You simply underestimated me, Tormock. Oh and I know this is just your Familiar, say bye bye, after it's dead, I'm coming for you next."
White fire bloomed across Angel's forearm, burning invisibly. This was the combination of Ice and Flames with the intention to destroy. It's variant, Red Ice was a combination meant to bring pain.
His angelic Mana gave him enough control that he didn't need to use his swords to fuse elements anymore.
The Multi-colored snake burned into nothingness- even the magic binding it's molecules disaappeared from reality.

A woman in a green dress sat up from her Throne- one shaped like the mouth of a snake- surprise apparent in her slitted eyes.
"Tormock. My...Familiar, he actually destroyed it..."
Her face split into an angry smile.
"Angel Savage. Good, good. You and I will see one another soon."
She rose from her throne, shifting into a massive Gray serpent that flew into a red portal.

"Oh sh*t! She just bodied you dude!!"
Candie laughed, enjoying the frustration building up on Laura's face.
"Quiet. I need to concentrate!"
Laura shot back, biting her bottom lip as she tried to put up a guard against Harley's fighter.
"Spam!spam!spam!spaaaamm!!"
Harley Cackled, smashing the same control buttons.
Their playing styles couldn't have been any more different. Laura was all strategy, while Harley was clearly lacking in that, but made it up with a deft hand and a lot of luck.
A few seconds later, Laura lost.
"Hahahahahaha she totally kicked your ass with the same move!"
Candie fell off her seat in laughter.
Looking up, Teddy appeared behind her, standing in place with a sharp knife, glinting in the light.
"Huh? Teddy?"
Candie muttered in confusion.
The Teddy Bear's eyes pulsed with a dark red light.
"TiMe tO pLAy."
A disjointed creepy voice escaped it's mouth. The Knife in its paws was raised, tip gleaming dangerously.
Candie's heart shuddered,
'Teddy, Why...?
The knife dropped, parrying away a wooden bat before it could smash onto Candie's forehead.
Pamgh!
A dull noise was produced, Harley's blow diverted to the side. The impact spun her around before she regained her balance.
Laura immediately sprang up, bringing out her blades while standing in front of Candie and Teddy, blocking Harley's path.
"Are you alright?"
The taciturn former Talon asked her friend.
Candie floated to an upright position, eyes on her Knife wielding Teddy Bear.
"Yeah...Teddy...saved me..."
She muttered.
"Are you...really my Teddy?"
In response, the Teddy Bear walked forward and took a knee, knife held at it's hip like a sword.
"I LiVe To SeRVe YoU, MisTRESS ScAndaL."
Candie screamed in instant elation.
"So adorable!!"
She dove forward and wrapped her hands around the Bear.
"Teddy, you can talk now!! Quick quick- say something else..."
Her actions prompted Laura to sigh. For all of Candie's power, she was a bit airheaded. This wasn't the time to let down her guard. Then again, Laura was going to handle the enemy anyway. Her duty was to keep the Young Mistress safe after all.
"Say,"
Harley begun, palming the bat.
"What are those short little blades going to do against a big chunk of wood? Chip it away?"
"Why don't you come and find out?"
Laura challenged.
A crazy smile appeared on Harley's bleached face,
"Challenge accepted!"
She ran forward, only to stumble to her knees and start heaving. The bat in her hands clattered to the ground. She held her belly and started vomiting.
Green fluids flew off her mouth and onto the floor, depositing a small red snake that instantly burned up into nothing.
Harley wiped her lips, looking up with a dumbfounded expression.
"What happened? Did I win?"

"Talk."
Angel threatened, Frost aimed at the Chaos Lord.
Suffice it to say, the latter sang like a bird.
But even after he was done explaining his reasons for turning traitor, Angel appeared unconvinced and kept the blade on him.
"So Let me get this straight. The reason you betrayed me, was because you had no choice, and in addition, it was for my own good?"
He asked with raised eyebrows.
Klarion chuckled nervously,
"When you put it like that...it sounds like bullshit, I know...but you gotta trust me Angel old pal, I had Waller send Task Force X to kidnap your little sister because I knew they wouldn't succeed. Had I left it to Tormock's hands, he would have come up with a plan that would have resulted in waaay more casualties. "
"My team is dead! You shot Widow!"
Angel seethed, losing control of his emotions, which made the whole cell tremble with his power.
The shaking stopped as he drew in a calming breath, hot temper turning cold as ice.
"That is unacceptable. You will answer for it with your life, Klarion."
Frost's edge started burning with white flames. Teekl shrank back with a growl of fear.
"Wait! They're not dead! They're still alive in Tormock's realm!!"
Klarion hastily revealed. He knew Angel was more than capable of killing him. While he wouldn't permanently die, losing his Familiar would send him back home. And that was the last place he wanted to go.
"Explain. Now."
Angel bit out.
"When Waller's team failed to capture your sister, Tormock decided to make you suffer by abducting everyone you care about...on top of killing her."
Klarion added, hesitant.
Angel's eyes went scary wide. Frost disaappeared from his hand, which was now gripping Klarion by the neck, suffocating him.
"...S-She's sa..fe! Your Sister..."
The Chaos Lord strained through the vice grip.
Fortunately, Angel eased up. Issuing a command with his thoughts, the Halo lens in his eyes pulled up a camera feed of the entire Lair.
His worries were assuaged once he spotted Candie, Laura and surprisingly, Harley safe in the Game room. Teddy- marching across it with a Knife popped out to him. That wasn't normal.
"I put a powerful animation spell on her Teddy Bear. It's roughly as powerful as a familiar like Teekl."
Klarion explained, rubbing his neck.
"Shut up and stay there."
Angel ordered, accessing the testing facility comms on Sub level 1, where Goku was training under intense gravity. Killer Frost sat off to the side watching him.
"(Goku, get down here. We have a situation. Code Red.)"
Angel's voice was projected throughout the chamber.
With that done, he turned back to the Traitor.
"I gather there's a reason the Lords of Chaos are so interested in me. Spill it."
"Yes."
Klarion cleared his throat.
"Every few hundred years, there's an universal selection where a new Chaos Lord is chosen. I picked you as a candidate for the position. But to be accepted into the selection procession, you need to pass a test."
'Lazarus Tournament on a galactic scale basically.'
Angel made the comparison.
Teekl meowed.
"Of course I'm gonna tell him."
Klarion replied to the Familiar, bringing his attention back to Angel,
"Originally, I wanted you to steal Nabu's helmet and present it to the other Lords as the test, but your reputation made them evaluate your special task. Scandal was meant as collateral to ensure you wouldn't refuse."
The sharp glare he received made Klarion raise his hands, regretting mentioning his sister's name.
"But now they have the Kings Guard as bargaining chips. Tormock is probably holding them in her realm. As long as you can accomplish the task, she's bound by her magic to release them."
"Her?"
Angel questioned.
"Tormock, the third rank Chaos Lord is actually female. Her real identity is that of the Goddess of Snakeway, Princess Snake. The Chaos of Illusions. And her chosen candidate, is The Galactic Warlord, Leader of the Planet Trade Organization, Emperor Frieza."
The Witchboy said in a dreary tone, making it obvious he was wary of the two.
Angel was surprised. Princess snake? and Frieza?
More DBZ characters. And the part about Frieza being a candidate for Lord of Chaos stood out to Angel.
But all of that meant nothing to him. At least then. The only thing he wanted to know was rescuing his team.
"How do I get to her Realm?"
"What about the Selection?"
Klarion asked.
"Don't give a shit."
Angel told him, eyes flickering in the air- he was pulling up every file and information he had on the Lords of Chaos and by extension, the Lords of Orders too.
"There won't be any Chaos Lords left once I'm through."
Klarion started sweating,
"You...you- have to compete, Angel Ole Pal. I kinda bet my soul and Teekl's on you winning."
"So?"
Angel crossed his hands together.
"That just means you're fucked. Got nothing to do with me."

In outer space, a giant gray snake made it's way along the empty void, surrounded by a canvas of far away stars.
It rode on tufts of clouds, winding a coiling path before stopping infront of a large round Space Ship.
On the deck of said space ship, soldiers in tight uniforms with sharp and long shoulder Paudrons stood in formation, creating two lines.
The device on their heads would have instantly been recognized as a Scouter by Angel.
The gray snake molded into a smaller form, a blue skinned woman with red hair dressed in a green dress.
She exuded grace and a foreign beauty, but the slitted eyes and concealed fangs let everyone knew: this was a predator.
The Goddess of Snake way, Princess Snake.
"What are you doing here, Chaos Lord?"
An authoritative yet sharp voice questioned, coming from a hover chair floating down to the deck.
"I had time to spare, so I decided to come and warn you, Frieza.
Princess Snake said, floating towards the hovering chair.
"Another Candidate will be coming here."
"Who? And Why?"
Frieza asked, showing a glimmer of interest in his eyes.
"A human mage. Angel Savage."
Princess Snake revealed.
"As to why? You have his people in the holding brig. He will be your Test Frieza. Present me with his head and you will pass into the Selection."
Frieza's head emerged from the shadows of the moving throne, a cold dark smile stretching on his face.
"In that case, why wait for him to come? Let's go meet him."
