Alice smiled warmly as she saw Tom approaching, and she quickly walked over to him.
Seeing the girl going to the handsome man, the men became angry.
Alice took Tom's hand and started talking. "Darling, you've arrived just in time, let's get out of here." Tom didn't understand what was going on. He came here to help; how could he be Alice's lover? Tom couldn't keep up with the fast-paced events.
Understanding what Alice was trying to do, Tom remained silent. He was not at all pleased with the situation; if the circumstances were right, he would have made these men regret their actions.
The two men noticed Tom's cold stare, but they didn't take him seriously. One of the men pulled out a knife.
Tom's expression changed; he was mocking these fools inwardly. Their belief that they could kill him with a knife amused Tom.
But the man misunderstood Tom, thinking that the change in his gaze was due to fear.
"What's wrong? You seem quite scared. You have 10 seconds to leave with your money and the girl," said one of the men with a sneer.
Tom was reaching his breaking point. No one could treat him like this, and those who did shouldn't hope to live.
Alice, on the other hand, was afraid that they would harm Tom. If necessary, she could beat these two men without hesitation, but even though she didn't want to reveal her identity, she could kill this man for Tom.
Tom held back his voice as he stared at the man holding the knife and the other man who was just laughing; the man with the knife would be the first to suffer.
The man suddenly grabbed his heart and fell to the ground. His heartbeat had become irregular. As the rain started to fall lightly, the familiar smell of the earth filled everyone's noses while one of the thugs writhed on the ground. Tom didn't take his eyes off the man; his companion didn't know what to do and began to worry a lot. When Tom turned his eyes away from the man writhing on the ground and looked at the scared man standing next to him, the thug also began to writhe on the ground. Alice couldn't understand what was going on; why did these men suddenly react like this?
Tom kept his eyes on the man; he couldn't bear it, and he too began to writhe on the ground. If the circumstances were right, Tom would castrate these men.
Tom said a few words. "They must have used drugs. I think we should leave here, Ms. Cullen." When Tom started to talk, Alice nodded approvingly.
Tom could normally find Alice sweet, but he was feeling quite angry now. He couldn't relax even though he had made these men suffer. In his opinion, such trash should not be allowed to live. Tom had engraved those men in his mind; the next time he found them, he would give them their death sentence.
Tom and Alice walked away from the street. It was raining heavily now. Tom could use his magic to stop the rain, but he didn't mind getting wet now, especially since Alice was with him. Tom thought to himself that he should have come by car; now they were standing in the rain.
Tom turned to Alice and looked her up and down.
Alice had opted for a casual and chic look today. She was wearing a plain cotton shirt and slightly baggy pants. The pants were cinched at the waist with a belt, and the cuffs were lightly rolled up. She had put on a thin leather jacket on top, and comfortable shoes that completed her style. She had also tied her hair into a messy bun and lightly combed it, so she looked both chic and comfortable from the outside.
Although she was wearing pants, she couldn't avoid getting wet in the rain. Her shirt was soaked and clinging to her body, leaving prominent marks on the fabric due to the water droplets. Water droplets dripping from her hair formed a thin veil on her face and shoulders.
Tom looked away from Alice; he started to feel strange as he looked at her.
Alice, with her high perception, noticed Tom's gaze on her. Alice was very happy; she wanted to stay like this forever.
Alice looked at Tom and then looked at her like Tom did. At first glance, her red lips caught Alice's attention. Her fair skin and wet hair flowing down to her forehead. Her face was like a work of art. When she looked away from her face, she looked at her broad shoulder and chest. Tom's clothes were wet, so his muscles were slightly visible. Alice quickly scanned the remaining parts of the man, and when she turned around, she couldn't suppress her smile. This man was wonderful in every way. Alice didn't say anything for a while. Tom thought he was acting completely out of character today, but he didn't regret it now.
While they were lost in thought, both were walking along the roadside, and Alice had called Rosalie to pick them up in the car. Suddenly, a horn sound was heard. A car was coming quickly toward Tom and Alice. The driver couldn't control his car due to the rain, and the wheels slipped.
A car crash wouldn't harm either of them, but Tom would use his magic to protect Alice. However, Alice quickly pulled Tom's arm with vampire speed. Alice pulled herself and Tom away from the path of the car.
Alice couldn't control her strength, so they both fell. Since Alice didn't let go of Tom's arm, she fell on top of him. Alice sat up a bit and started looking at Tom while she was still on top of him. She got stuck on his red lips.
Tom was experiencing a moment he had never felt before. He preferred to go with the flow and didn't want to rush to get up.
Their lips met with the cool touch of the rain, and for a moment, they were lost in each other.
Under the rain, they shared a passionate kiss. Alice's hands were wandering on Tom's chest. They felt like time had stopped, and they were only focused on each other's presence.
When they ended their kiss, Alice was looking at Tom with love-filled eyes. This moment they experienced under the rain had strengthened their bond even more. Every moment they spent together brought them closer.
Alice's hand was caressing Tom's cheek as she looked into his eyes. Tom felt good after the kiss. Alice could hear Tom's fast heartbeat. For a while, they just looked into each other's eyes. Neither of them said a word. Tom thought he had acted entirely out of character today, but he didn't regret it now.
The sound of a horn interrupted them.
