Chapitre 125: Omniscience in Marvel 121

A/N: ....And I am back. This new Volume would be kind of lackluster though. When I had stopped posting here, I had already finished it on Patreon since I wanted to end it all and focus on other things, but... writing is way more fun that other things...so here we are.

I'm planning on a sequel though. This one would probably irk a couple religious people reading it since it's going to be about Armageddon...or the Apocalypse in Marvel, but from the Christian Bible Perspective(Revelation).

There will a couple references to Isaiah since he was the Prophet of the Apocalypse. The Prophet God, or in this novel, Leucadius/Aspect, decided to show the scenes of the End Times.

Feel free to go and finish this novel on Patreon since I ended it in Chp 170...I think. And if I were to post it once daily...we won't be finishing it till the ending of February next year.

Anyways, enjoy.

Title - Prelude to Captain America

Leucadius POV.

The cinema was bustling with patrons eager for an evening's escape from the grim realities of the war-torn world outside. A classic film was supposed to be played on the big screen, but instead, there was a run down on the ongoing war between the US and the Germans.

Steve Rogers, neatly dressed in a two piece suit looked emotionally down as he observed the images on the screen.

"War continues to ravage Europe, but help is on the way. Every able bodied young man is lining up to serve his country." As the words sounded, images of robust men being checked by a doctor was shown, further adding to Rogers disappointment.

"Even little Timmy is doing his part collecting scrap metals, Nice work Timmy." The speaker continued.

"Who cares! Play the movie already!" One snobbish young man in front of Rogers hollered in annoyance.

"Hey, you wanna show some respect?" Rogers said in a hushed tone. It was unknown whether it was low due to his location or just out of fear, but something told me it was out of consideration.

Yup. I heard him Loud and clear, but that didn't mean others did…Perhaps the young man did, cause I felt a spike in his annoyance.

"Hey, you know everyone is free to say or do whatever they want right?" I asked the young Rogers who was 'coincidentally' sitting beside me.

"But that doesn't mean they're free to do or say them." Rogers was quick to reply as he turned to my direction sharply.

"That's true, but you gotta know which battles to pick. You're still young, not everything revolves around you."

Rogers gave me a look that said; For real?, causing me to ask. "What?"

"You're the same age as me, why are you taking the higher ground?" He asked but I simply raised my two hands in surrender.

"Alright, you do you. But I'm gonna wager that he's gonna say something you deem rude again, you're gonna talk, and then you both are gonna end up in some alleyway with your face being punched in." I said with a wide smile as I pulled out a hundred dollar bill. "Wanna bet?"

Rogers looked at me, then at the bill before scoffing and looking away. "There's no need to be rewarded for doing the right thing."

"Oh? You're quite the religious one, aren't you?" I said and tucked the money back into my chest pocket and stretched out my right hand.. "The name's Lucas, Lucas Hawthorne. I like to make friends with people such as yourselves."

Rogers looked at the hand then at me before shaking it. "Steven Rogers. A pleasure."

Just then, "C'mon! Let's go! Get on with it! Just start the fucking Cartoon!"

My smile grew wider at this, but Rogers who was actually pretty interested in the war details and had been paying attention pulled his hands away and sat up. "Hey! You wanna shut up!"

The entire theater went silent as only the voice of the speaker could be seen as the young man slowly stood up in a probable bid to look menacing. "Told you so…"

Normal POV

In the well lit alleyway, the sounds of the cinema's crowd had faded, replaced by the sharp grunts and thuds of a scuffle. The young man who had been vocal in the theater now stood over Steve Rogers, who had just been pummeled mercilessly.

Rogers scurried up quickly and picked up the lid of a garbage can and set it in front of himself as a shield only for the young man to pull it away before throwing another punch that sent the scrawny Rogers to the floor once again.

Despite the young man's strength and aggression, Rogers refused to stay down. "You think you're tough?! You just don't know when to give up, do you?" the young man spat, delivering another punch. "Why do you keep getting up?"

With that, he threw another punch to Rogers who had just gotten back up.

"Hey" The young man said and went to pull Rogers up by his collar and held him in one hand. Rogers, bruised but unyielding, met the young man's eyes. "I can do this all day," he said through gritted teeth, his voice steady despite the pain.

The young man's frustration grew, causing him to throw one heavy punch at Rogers causing him to fall into the garbage bin.

"Hey!" Just then, a rather alarmed voice called out from behind the young man as another young man grabbed him by the shoulder, turning him around while pulling him away from Rogers. "Pick on someone your own size."

The young man, already high on his ability to beat up Rogers, didn't bother to take a good look at the newest arrival and went in for the punch only to miss as the newest arrival easily dodged the punch and jabbed him slightly on the stomach.

As the young man bent down in pain, he threw another punch, this time, to his face, causing him to grunt in pain while swirling due to the force of the punch.

To make matters worse, the newest arrival, now shown to be wearing the US army uniform went on to give him a kick right in his arse sending him hurtling to the ground.

"Tsk." He clicked his tongue and then turned to Rogers who was already getting up. "Sometimes I think you just like getting punched."

"I had him on the ropes." Rogers said as he wiped the blood on his mouth.

The newest arrival didn't care and bent down to pick up an envelope that fell from Rogers' suit. "How many times is this?" He asked as he opened up the envelope to see a 4F boldly stamped on. "Oh? You're from Paramus now?"

Rogers didn't bother replying as he continued wiping himself clean. "You know it's illegal to lie on the enlistment form. And seriously, Jersey?"

To the question, Rogers finally paused and looked at his one and only friend. "You get your orders?" He asked without answering the one thrown at him.

The young man sighed. "The 107th. Sergeant James Barnes, shipping out for England first thing tomorrow." He replied.

Rogers, despite being happy for his friend, scoffed. "I should be going." He said.

There was a short moment of silence between the two before Barnes pulled him into a side hug. "C'mon man. My last night. Gotta get you cleaned up." he said and began pulling Rogers away from the place. And considering how scrawny he was, it took no effort.

"Why? Where are we going?" Rogers asked and Barnes pushed a newspaper right at him. "The future."

"Ladies and Gentlemen! Mr. Howard Stark!" The host of the night's Stark Convention introduced, after which a round of applause ensued as Howard made his way to the stage.

His confident and charming smile was so captivating that numerous young guys who came here with their dates nearly lost them. To make matters more interesting, as he took off his hat and gave it to the host, he didn't waste time stealing a kiss from her before taking the microphone from her.

"I love you Howard!"

"Ooh. Someone just lost his girl to that guy." Leucadius, or Lucas who sat at a special VIP section said in jest but apparently, only he found it funny as his escort's faces just remained stone cold.

"Young Master, don't you think you've spent a lot of time with that young man?" A middle aged man sitting beside Lucas asked.

"Oh?" Lucas intoned.

"Of course. I dare not say that you're ruining the face of the family, but your actions could lead to certain…situations that'll force the family to appear in the public eye."

"Hmm. You do not need to worry." Lucas said before his eyes lit up at the car Howard was presenting. "Unfortunately the Gravitic Reversion Technology is too complex for the current era to conceptualize."

"Huh? Young master, you mean this is a failure?" The middle aged man asked in confusion. Wasn't the car actually reversing gravity already? "It is actually working."

"Not for long, Allen." Lucas said and Allen knew better than to argue with his ward.

Not up to ten seconds passed before the Car had a malfunction and fell back to the ground. "Young master…how did you know?"

"The concept of reversing gravity requires an advanced understanding of quantum fields and gravitational manipulation that our current technology and theoretical physics cannot support. The necessary materials and energy levels needed are far beyond what we have. Even if the technology works momentarily, it will be inherently unstable due to these limitations," Lucas explained, his tone reflecting both his scientific acumen and his expectation that such advancements would not be feasible yet.

"I did say in a few years, didn't I?" Howard, who was on the stage, cracked a joke to ease the embarrassment.

"Indeed." Lucas, as if the one he was talking to replied as his gaze moved to the scrawny Rogers who had just left his friend, Barnes and his date. 'Hmm. I guess he's about to meet the Doctor.' Lucas thought and refocused on Howard.

Lucas, Howard and Erskine had been in contact for a couple months, both to keep Lucas on the loop as it pertains to the SSS and to form a connection that will establish his family…in the case of Howard.

The Stark family, despite being an Industrially wealthy family, were not that influential in the circle of the elite. Isaac Stark, Howard's father was also a man more intelligent than his peers, however, he focused that intelligence in building an empire. One that Howard was further stabilizing.

Lucas knew that even without the Hawthorne family's help, Howard would make his family company a multi-billion dollar company through this war, but since he wished to be connected to his family, who was he to push him away?

Wasn't this also helping him with a bit of a connection in and of itself without having to use the family power carelessly?

"[Sir, I'm afraid there's a bit of a situation.]" at that moment, Aspect's Telepathic message came in

"Oh? Aspect? What kind of situation can arise when you're keeping an eye out?" Leucadius asked.

"[The Tesseract hidden in Norway has just been stolen by a man who goes by the moniker; Red Skull.]" Aspect reported.

"Hmm. And the family in Norway?" Leucadius hummed interestingly and asked.

"[All killed. There were no survivors.]"

"They had no Shadows on them?" Now Leucadius was worried. He didn't bother to keep note of every single Human family all over the world, but he was sure they all should have, at the very least, a hundred well trained assassins.

[They haven't been able to Train up any, Sir. Apparently this family regressed over time and took their mission of safeguarding the Tesseract as more important as the years went by.]"

"Close to a thousand years old and…that's it?" Leucadius asked rhetorically.

Initially, there weren't any family situated in Norway as this was Odin's turf. However, following the war with the Frost Giants, Odin had opted to hide the Tesseract away on Earth, a decision vehemently countered by Gaia and Leucadius.

After a couple of back and forths, Leucadius opted to build something that'll be able to hold and block off the energy radiation the Space Stone was exuding despite the tesseract holding it.

Gaia, after some persuasion, gave him a huge chunk of wood from the World tree much to both Odin and Leucadius' shock.

It had to be known that while the World Tree was real, it didn't really exist. It was something that existed in-between reality and illusion.

This was why Leucadius didn't question it when Gaia initially gave him a branch in which he used to craft a sword and spear. But the size she brought out this time was over a hundred times bigger.

Leucadius had a bright smile as he crafted a box and a gate to hold the tesseract while Odin ground his teeth in anger. In Leucadius' words, -Who told you to only know how to fight?-

It was only later that Leucadius had the idea to situate a family there to watch over it. It was only now that he understood that he had made a fruitless decision back then.

"Ignore it. Fate was just correcting itself." Leucadius said and kicked Aspect out of his head and stood up.

"Young master?" Allen also got up while the two guards immediately went on-guard.

"I'm bored of this already. Let's go meet with the doctor. Perhaps he'd have something new to tell me." Leucadius said and walked out of the room.
