Chapitre 8: Chapter 6 - Spirit of Light
Beiye POV
I decided to skip the mission as I stopped walking to go get some sleep but when I awoke to find out that my brother went with the Chief Commander on a mission where they were attacked by the Demon Gods.
I got word they headed to a mission to stop the demons train supply route.
I put my armor on to head over there by teleporting to the scene to see my brother and Cai'er killing a Level 7 demon but then I noticed he dropped the necklace as I picked it up to enter to a dark void to see Yating in a cage.
As I stepped forward the dark energy started hurting her as I pulled out my sword to jump in the air.
Beiye: Dragons of Light and Dragon of Rain.
As I shot my dragons were colliding with the dark barrier cracking as I landed to swipe my sword destroying it as I ran up to Yating.
Beiye: Hello cute one, are you okay.
Yating was trying to catch her breath as I held my hand out with light elements healing her.
Beiye: I hope your okay, I'll have to take you back with me to the pass.
Yating finally looked up at me.
As I was pulled back out with my brother standing next to me.
Haochen: Sister.
Beiye: Oh brother, I'm glad your alright and you as Cai'er but also everyone.
Haochen: Thank you sister.
I looked at the necklace as Chen Ying Er walked up.
Chen Ying Er: Leader Beiye, that's a pretty jewel and I know jewels.
Lin Xin: Really?
Lin Xin bumped Ying'er out of the way to look.
Lin Xin: Ying'er is right tho, look at the surface luster and texture as this truly is a treasure.
They all looked at me.
Lin Xin: Leader Beiye this treasure was carried by a Level 7 Demon so it's valuable then let's keep it.
Beiye: No, I must turn it in.
As I made an necklace holding light element appear out of nowhere near my brothers feet as compensation for Yating.
Beiye: Hey brother, what's by your feet.
Haochen looked down as he picked it up.
Lin Xin: Another treasure!
As I smirked since I'm gonna keep compensating my brother until he's the God of Light and sits on our grandfather's divine throne.
Haochen: We can't keep these.
Lin Xin: But any demon hunting squad can keep trophies from missions.
Beiye: But a Level 7 Demon was carrying both of them so really is not that simple as we are putting the entire Exorcism Pass in jeopardy so will let Lord Xiazhe decide what to do.
Timeskip
We met up with everyone as we blew up there supplies but I know about the mark on Yating as I'm containing it from hurting her, I'm gonna kill Allocer for this and his two little friends as well.
We made it back as I was preparing for the selection, the necklace I made for my brother has a mind of it's own to only select him,
Lord Xiazhe knows that too so me and my brother will get both as that necklace will work like a furnace naming it Radiant Glamour.
Commander: Everyone out, we've been called!

I was standing with Gao and that annoying guy Li Yuanli, he's Peak Level 7 but my brother will surpass this trash very soon.
As Lord Xiazhe talked he released the two necklaces as they floated in mid air.
Lord Xiazhe: All roles of light attribute present. Fall out!
Me and Li Yuanli walked out as I went to stand by my brother and Lin Xin rambled about merits.
Lord Xiazhe: I guess there's no need to explain anything. Release your light aura and whoever the spirit of light also the radiant necklace chooses will get them.
Lord Xiazhe: Fate shall decide and no one shall force it or you'll get punished by military law.
Everyone started showing off as they flare their Aura's but me and my brother didn't.
Sima: Captain release your Aura, we can't let them take a rare treasures from us.
Beiye: Look, so many are releasing there Aura's surrounding them like a jail cell or cage.
Haochen: We let them choose.
As Yating and Radiance circle around it's time to take initiative.
Beiye: Cute little one, it's okay.
Haochen: You are a rare delicate treasure of great light.
As the necklace flew to my brothers hands as Li Yuanli looked shocked.
Lin Xin: Yes, that's one treasure for our squad!
Li Yuanli looks shocked but he hasn't given up hope for the spirit of light as I see Yating was searching.
Beiye: Hey little one, good on, it's your choice.
The Yating looked at me with a smile as she flew circling going into Li Yuanli's direction before maneuvering to appear in my hands to circle around me as everyone is was shocked.
Glory Angel: How can they have more light affinity deeper than our captain?
Li Yuanli: You both must have cheated!
Beiye: Or your that weak.
Li Yuanli: Glory Angels step forward.
Glory Angel: Take them down first.
As squad A jumped in front of us.
Then Cai'er slammed her cane down creating a shockwave.
Cai'er: What ?You wanna fight?
Lord Xiazhe: Alas, how come Cai'er gets angry so easily?
Beiye: You rest my beautiful princess.
Yating nodded as her and the necklace disappeared.
Li Yuanli: Long Beiye and Long Haochen didn't release any light energy but why did the spirit of light and radiant necklace go to them.
Beiye: Will you stop talking, you were not chosen stop crying about it, it was there choice and not ours, if you got a problem with it then compete in a competition with me and my brother, is that alright Lord Xiazhe.
As I took my place with all the talking then
Li Yuanli released his light energy, weak.
Then me and my brother released our energy draining all his.
Li Yuanli: How is that possible? Your only starting Level 7 and he's only Level 5.
Beiye: What a loser.
Haochen: The strength of light affinity has nothing to do with Levels.
Beiye: Well said brother.
As two dragons of light appears circling us and then air above us.
ROOOAAAARRRR!!
As then our dragons disappeared.
Beiye: Are we done?
Haochen: Captain Li, is it over?
Then he came over to apologize to us but I'm not buying it as I put a spell on Yating and Radiance to blast him should he try anything but he'll still someone the Demon Gods cause I wanna defeat them.
