Beiye POV
I put on my new uniform for the coming battle as I sensed my brother has arrived but the then I heard the war buggle to know Demons incoming.
I stood up from my bed to get ready when a soldier came running in.
Soldier: Ma'am! Demons incoming in thirty seconds!
I sped walked out the room with the soldier following.
Beiye: Right! Issue my orders, I want the magic cannons filled and ready, crossbows at the ready, prepare air assault to everyone watch each others backs!
Soldier: Yes Ma'am!
Soldier ran the other direction as I took out two swords held in each hand to be the edge of the wall looking out to them coming.
Beiye: Focus fire at the center and make the enemy divide!
Soldiers: Yes Ma'am!!
I charged some my light energy into my blade.
Beiye: Holy Rage!
I sliced around 40 light beam slashes killing a lot of demons as the cannons and men fired as well.
Beiye: Now let's get started.
ROOOOOAAAAARRR!
I look to see Level 6 Demons flying at me from the sky above as I smirked as I charged energy to not swords with a motion I created energy sword constructs.
Beiye: Light Liberation!
I shot them in the sky as as the Demons died being impaled as the corpses fell.
I look behind to see my brother and squad A fighting on the wall as I dashed slashing every demon in sight.
Beiye: Brother!
Haochen looked at me to see me running to him as I saw a demon blitzed to him as I charged at I charged my sword with energy.
Beiye: Destruction Gale!
As I cut sword energy that went passed my brother killing the demons in sight as I saw Squad A jump off the wall as I followed them.
I was falling slashing demons as I falling to the ground but then I felt an energy than saw a magic circle on my back.
Haochen: Everyone be careful!
Beiye: And stay together!
As we blasted off at fast speeds as I took the center slashing demons as we rushed through the battlefield.
I looked to Haochen.
Beiye: Haochen, we need to be past this demons soon or we're sitting ducks so get ready as soon as the spell stops to charge in.
Haochen: Right!
Then the spell stops as it's me, Haochen, and Cai'er slashing through demons as we kept running.
Beiye: Everyone, Me, Haochen, and Cai'er will cut through, don't get distracted.
Haochen: Don't get attached to the battle, Hurry up and spurt to approach the Demon Commander.
As we cut through more demons trying to get to the commander.
Haochen: Lightning Stab.
Beiye: Justice slash.
We're making quick work of these demons as I went on ahead to be stopped by a wall of lava to see four level 6 demon puppets of fire but I don't have time for this as I slashed all of them away with light energy of my swords as I destroyed the crystals.
I saw Haochen and the others behind me as I pointed to the commander covered in a fire pillar to which Haochen nodded.
I ran to slash the barrier as we all piled.
Commander: Wanna kill me? We'll come with me to hell.
The Commander sliced his belly open to reveal energy climbing as everyone was being teleported as Cai'er pushed my brother away as me and her were teleported back.
As we hear the demons retreating meaning my brother did it.
Timeskip.
Squad A were lined up as me and Gao stood across from them as Gao tossed the commanders head to a soldier.
Beiye: Well done everyone.
Gao: You cooperated perfectly and the beheading plan was a success.
Beiye: Long Haochen, Fall out.
Haochen walked forward.
Haochen: Yes, Leader Beiye.
I brought my Squad card up as Haochen looked at his.
Beiye: This is an award to your squad for killing the demon commander.
Gao: A total of 3,000 merit points.
Lin Xin: Woah, 3,000 points!
I nodded to Haochen.
Gao: Now that you finished the mission, you can divide the merit points.
Beiye: There will be other missions.
Gao: Okay, dismissed.
Squad A: Yes, Leader Gao.
I went back to the barracks as I got in my tent but then my card started going off alarming red.
Beiye: An urgent mission from Exorcism Pass, The casualty Camp needs healing herbs badly as they're recruiting all light featured roles above level 5, that's me.
As I walked out of the barracks to get the herbs.
