After ensuring through the system that Grakthar was indeed deceased, Adall picked up his lance and began scanning the arena with his gaze.
Even though everyone was immersed in their own combat, the most powerful participants did not fail to closely follow the confrontation between the two behemoths that were Groggle and Grakthar.
So, they stiffened when they felt the winner's gaze settle on them before continuing his path.
He was looking for his next victim!
That was the thought that most of them would develop in this situation.
Indeed, Adall was searching for something, but it wasn't an opponent.
He simply had difficulty with lances and was looking for a weapon that better suited his combat style.
And if this weapon was already in someone else's possession?
Well, that person could already consider themselves dead.
Adall was still in the midst of his search when he felt a murderous intent once again directed at him.
One day, I discovered that what I truly loved doing in life was reading novels, discovering new works, imagining new concepts to make a character I loved stronger, and, why not, creating my own character in a work and evolving them in my imagination. I would sometimes spend hours doing this without realizing it, with a smile on my face.
Unfortunately, as time passes, we grow older, and with that comes responsibilities. Especially being African, where society always frowns upon someone who, at a certain age, still maintains a passion they developed since adolescence. I can still hear them saying to me: "It's time for you to grow up, Alban."
So, I recently found myself having to choose between my passion for reading and my ever-burgeoning imagination, and my need to create a monthly income, even if it meant having to abandon my passion.
I ultimately decided to combine the two by creating my own original work: "The War of the Primals". It's still in its early stages, and I promise to do my best not to disappoint you.
So, even if it's a bit selfish of me, I would really appreciate it if you could help me get it known. A comment to let me know if you enjoy it would help me a lot, you have no idea.
As improving is also at the heart of my goals, I would also be delighted to read your constructive criticism.
Thank you very much, dear reader.
