Chapitre 21: Rock Lee vs Cid Gojo
[A/N: Sorry Guys, for late upload, and Comment and review a lot, please tell if there are grammar mistakes and I am really bad at writing fight scenes so please forgive me]
"the Last match is Rock Lee vs Cid Gojo," said Hayate, as Rock Lee and Cid Gojo faced each other
"Are both contestents ready?," asked Hayate
"Ready," said Cid with arms in his pockets not even bothering to ready himself
"Ready," said Lee while gritting his teeth as Cid was not taking him seriously
"Hmm Battle Begin," said Hayate
'From our previous duel his advantage is his overwhelming speed, so I need to catch him off guard as he is not taking the match seriously,' thought Lee as he rushed towards Cid and threw a high kick towards his face but Cid just disappeared and appeared behind Lee
"Such mastery over the body flicker Jutsu," said Kurenai
"You are wrong Kurenai, That's just his raw speed," said Guy with a smile, he knew such speed didn't come without training, that kid trained hard not as hard as Lee but trained harder than anyone around
'He is faster than the previous fight, so he was holding back? Heh but I can just do this, he is underestimating me and giving me a lot of openings,' thought Lee thinking of how to combat this situation
Lee threw several Kunai and Shuriken toward Cid's escape routes and rushed toward him,
'I got you now LEAF HURRICANE,' thought Lee launching a series of high and low kicks on Cid in response Cid just smiled as he dodged but he saw several Shurikens and exploding Kunai coming toward him
'A normal Ninja if got hit with kunai will get severe injuries, and some of those have exploding tags, nice nice, what should I do now,' thought Cid as smiled already knowing the answer, Cid just destroyed all of them using his Kunai, but Lee knew this would happen and attack Cid again
"Leaf Hurricane," said Lee as he attacked Cid again, but Cid grabbed Lee's leg and threw them
"Hey how about we fight more openly," said Cid as he ran towards Lee grabbed his face rubbed it towards the side wall, and then threw him
"LEE," screamed Neji seeing how badly hurt Lee was,
"Alright Lee take em off," said Guy with a smile
"But Guy sensei you said that I should use it only as the last resort when the lives of important people are at stake," said Lee
"That's right I did but this is an exception, Lee you can see it too, you are losing in a fight of Taijutsu, that's unacceptable Show him the true power of youth," said Guy
"Really, Really, HAHAHA," said Lee as he took off his ankle weights and threw them on the ground creating a large whole
"Damn Bushy brow, how does he even move in those," said Naruko
"I told you these guys are for some weird clan," said Sasuke
"Wait when did you come," said Naruko in shock
"Oh I came after some stuff happened," said Sasuke as Kakashi told him not tell anybody about the sealing curse seal, even though he was asleep the entire time and woke up 4 minutes prior but he couldn't miss Cid's match
"Guy you are too much, he is still a kid," said Kakashi
As Lee took off his weights his speed and strength were elevated to another level, surprising everyone even Gaara but still Cid was not far behind
"Take this," said Lee as he disappeared and appeared as if teleporting but Cid still dodged his attacks
'Hmm, his strength is lower than mine but his speed,' thought Cid
"What now, Cid starting to take me seriously or did I hurt your 'pride'," said Rock Lee
"Nah, I am starting to find this fun," said Cid as he ran towards Lee and punched him in the face
"Let's fight, MORE OPENLY," screamed Cid grabbing Lee's legs and throwing him toward his right
'This guy, his strength speed, and agility are beyond me,' thought Lee as he tried to think of a plan
'there's only one way,' thought Lee as he stood up
"Is this supposed to be normal," asked Cid looking toward Lee
"What are you talking about," said Lee
"Your attacks reek of fear," said Cid
'Attacks reek of fear, what does he mean by that,' thought Lee
"When you attack you fear killing me, when you dodge or block your fear of getting hurt, when you see me attack you the fear of dying, all I see from you is endless fear," said Cid
"You need to be a little crazy sometimes, let out all your frustrations only then you realize the true beauty of the world, the pleasant feeling of not caring about anything or anyone, SO SHOW ME ROCK LEE, show me your EGO," said Cid as Lee got up
"Let it all out Rock Lee, show me your crazy side, fight without restraint," said Cid
"What are you talking about," said Lee but he understood what Cid was saying, he wanted him to fight with his full power with the intent to kill and not caring about the surrounding ninjas
"I am ending this, Third Gate Open fourth Gate Open," said Lee not caring anymore he knew Cid could handle it
"Fifth Gate OPEN," said Lee as he attacked Cid but Cid dodged this time taking the fight more seriously
"Heh, I know you could do it," said Cid as he and Lee started fighting, but Cid was taking it pretty easy while Lee had to give it his all
Cid and Lee started exchanging blows, making sonic booms as they fought on, it was pretty clear Cid was going easy
'How the hell is he so strong, I am giving it my all but still,' thought Lee as he remembered his conversation with Guy

"Guy sensei if I used all my strength can I beat Cid," asked Lee
"No, you don't stand a Chance, Lee my battle instincts scream at me the moment I look at him, screaming me to run away and hide," said Guy

'Guy sensei also told me I had no chance of winning, I knew he was stronger but this much, to this extent,' thought Lee as he stood up barely
"Hey don't tell you are done already, the funs just getting started," said Cid
"Monster," muttered Lee seeing Cid didn't even have a single wound
"But to make it fair I will fight you in your speciality," said Cid taking a taijutsu stance for the first time, Lee also got ready
"Let's end this in one blow," said Cid as both he and Lee disappeared and huge dust was created, when the dust was cleared Lee was on the ground panting while Cid was standing as the victor
"I have failed you guy sensei, tenten, can I really beat a genius," said Lee
"Hmm you wanted to beat a genius, No you wanted people to acknowledge that your hard work can beat any genius there is," said Cid and lee nodded weakly
"Quite a dull for a life goal isn't it, you should set something more grandeur in my opinion," said Cid
"But do you know why you lost," asked Cid and Lee's ears perked up
"You lost because all you wanted to defeat was Neji Hyuga your goal was just him nothing else, you had the never-giving-up attitude but what you lack is the mentality, what makes Lion the King of the Jungle simple his mentality," said Cid
"You acknowledged Neji as stronger than you after he beat you twice or thrice that is wrong, you would have been right had you fought him over and over again till you won," said Cid
"you should have let go of everything and only focus on strength," said Cid
"Who do you think has real power," asked Cid
"A Genius? Or a person blessed with special abilities," said Sasuke
"Wrong, Real power does not come to the one born the strongest, fastest or smartest, it comes those who will do anything to achieve it," said Cid and Lee remembered how strong he was when he fought freely but he knew that fighting style was not meant for him but he smiled
"Maybe your right but that thing fits you the best," said Lee, and Cid nodded
"Yeah but I had my fun, you should not belittle yourself," said Cid
"What do you mean," asked Lee
"You should be proud for the power you possess, you worked hard for it be prideful and stand proud, because you are strong," said Cid
